Hi, can someone tell me how this phone works as of the GPS option? I have read many threads from many of you but it really confused me. Does the GPS automaticaly work without any software installation? or do this phone need to internet connection in order to operate the GPS system?

i won't make fun of you but you rock pole! i had a n95 now have a innov8. its a super phone in a class of its own but has a few bugs like voice being out of sync with video recording. the bugs are fixable with firmware updates but samsung is extremely slow with this. thus the choice is a tough one for you but if you are looking for a great phone and got patients it's deffinitly the best simbian phone around!

Hi, these are silly questions really but just wondering if anybody knows or if you can get any animations i.e smilie faces that you can insert onto text messages? Also can you get any updates for the "call log" on the phone? Really need it to advise me of the date/time each missed/dialed/received call the same person has made and not the last call. Can anybody help? My last Samsung mobile G600 did it. I have contacted Samsung and they just said the phone does not do it. Would appreciate your help as this is driving me mad not knowing.

I have tried everything and can't get ... moredirk you can update it, just have to play with it a bit. put it into recovery mode before you plug it in via USB and then it will update.

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970I am an Omnia user. It initially had video memory problems, but after 2 updates on Windows mobile software, it's working fine.
INNOV - works on S60 platform, which is a different than Omnia.
I would suggest go for Omnia. It's a real PDA+ smart phone.

Great phone but VERY disappointed with battery life.
I have tried everything and can't get any more than 24 hours out of it with minimum use.
Hope Samsung gets some firmware for this and lets us use PC STUDIO 7 to install it.
The updater doesn't work for this model.
Like Always, Samsung gets a new phone out and doesn't get it right AGAIN.

I dont think i made it that difficult to comprehend & i m sure there was a normal common sense in it that i said, that u were not able to pick. unfortunately i have never seen a camera myself show a pic and then after a sec change the pic n show a new 1 ,and u come to know that the 2nd pic is what u get . Even though i like the mobile i find this thing in it very stupid.
