I had the same problem mate, you need to do the following:
Messaging>
Options>
Other>
Memory in use - change to E: Mass Memory
This changes the destination folder from text messages from the phone memory or sim to the 8/16GB mass memory and makes your text message folder pretty much unlimited

I am planning to buy this phone and my main usage will be GPS? will GPS work in offline mode or whithout a SIM card? How is the maps compared to Nokia?

Its perfectly normal for a lithium-ion battery to deplete within a day or 2 the first weeks you use it, but mine works fine now, ive got it 5 months.
and adjusting some settings might help too, turn off 3g/dual-mode/umts, turn off accelerometer, turn on power saving mode..

anybody try n85 charger yet? nokia charges work full speed and I might be wrong but it seems n85 also got micro usb charge port.

oh and one more thing..
since i bought it and put the sim card in i have a flashing envelope at the right top corner. my sms memory isnt that full and i cant get rid of it.. any ideas? ty in advance

hey ya all. i recently bought i8510 just a week ago and im thrilled with the features it has on it. basically cause it happens to have also a n95 nokia in the familly i noticed that the whole menu is copied from the nokia plus the submenus.. which i personally dont find it extremely bad as a concept :)
though i have a major disadvantage on the function of the phone. i write like 5 sms at the beginning of the day after a fully charged night period and the battery drops instantly on level 3. if i talk for more than a minute n less than 4 then its drops to level one!!! it just my phone or have u guys noticed that the battery is a crap?? im a samsung user for the last 4 years and i have a previous clamsell model that the battery never drops dead no matter how often u ll talk or sms and u need to rechange only at the end of the 4rth day!!!!!
please pass me on ur feedback since i need to get soome answers.

Is there such a thing as a manufacturer warranty for innov8? I bought mine online and the 1st owner bought it in UK,I live in the Philippines and I was charged $25 just for the firmware update.

hi i bought the soul and it had bang and olsen speakers but i find its very quiet i hrly hear it and if i pay music on it while i shower i cnt hear it over the shower unlike previous samsungs like g600. is this one loud or quiet as the n96 is loud thanks x

Anonymous, 17 Mar 2009total rubbish, i had this for only 6days and it that time a had to charge it every night it tu... moredude thats the same problem my innov8 has, it freezes like more than a dozen times in a day and sometimes the keys just blinks. I actually brought it to samsung center earlier and ill get my phone back in 3days. they said they will just update the firmware($25!!!) which should be free since the firmware update is available online... it just doesnt work.

GPS works at lightning speed in default navigator and Google Maps..... Within 20 seconds it gets connected
