Anonymous, 17 Mar 2009total rubbish, i had this for only 6days and it that time a had to charge it every night it tu... moredude thats the same problem my innov8 has, it freezes like more than a dozen times in a day and sometimes the keys just blinks. I actually brought it to samsung center earlier and ill get my phone back in 3days. they said they will just update the firmware($25!!!) which should be free since the firmware update is available online... it just doesnt work.

GPS works at lightning speed in default navigator and Google Maps..... Within 20 seconds it gets connected

I think theres a couple reviews comparing the innov8's build quality to nokias n95 and innov8 wins easy.

Hey guys, I'm an avid nokia fan, and have been for a long time, but I just have one major problem with nokia phones, and that's the build quality.
Basically my question is about the N85 vs Samsung i8510 INNOV8.....
I'm a heavy texter and I tend to drop my phone quite a bit so I need something fairly durable. The mexapixels dont bother me a whole lot because there's not much diff between 5mp and 8mp.
Which one should I go for??

I really like this phone...I cann't w8t to buy this phone. Beside the price is ok for the 8 mega pixel camera & 16g external memory...

If u want creat and edit document, just update the Quick Office with full version. Or u can use another 3rd party software like Office Suite.

the first time i used the GPS i had to leave it running for about half an hour, but everytime i try and use it now, it is almost instantaneous. far quicker than my N95 was, and that wasnt bad by any means

me and my friends bought innov8 for it's good battery,image,tv out,vga 30@fps video,symbian os,divx player,document view,3G AND loud speakers.now we are waiting for an innov8 with 10mp+xenon=INNOV10
me and my friends wont buy Idou IF samsung innov10 born

hey I cant seem to connect to wlan... i find the network fine, but I never get prompted for a username and password. I'm used to SE and WinMo phone so any help wud be great

how can I watch mpg and avi files with this phone?

-my pc usually cant recognize my phone whether its connected as mass storage or for pcstudio (tried studio3 and 7). I already tried installing the samsung usb driver, reformatted the phones storage, hard reset, etc. but still not recognize in my pc most of the time.
-how come it doesnt play mpg files? my g600 can play this file but not innov8?

I think its a case of "dont blame the tool,blame the user"
If you use gps+ the gps works much better than that of n95.

The GPS is worthless. In Nokia it takes about 30 sec to find the location,in this Samsung it can take half on hour! I had two of those and i sell them away asap. The phone is quite o.k,but the GPS is a joke.
