soraxd, 01 Mar 2010and youll have the Samsung Wave. lol well more or lessWell. The fact that it runs Android has an 8mp Camera and a 3.7inch displays make it different enough from the Wave. 3.3inchs is just too small in my opinion. With the room you’d save taking the projector out you can put a keyboard and other stuff I mentioned in. That would really differentiate it from the wave.
I think ac.phil already mentioned the keyboard. It’s definitely a good idea.
oscar, 08 Mar 2010gsmarena states it has an android eclair OS...there are other sites tehkseven who says its sam... moreAs you can see in the photo, there is an icon with android mascot on it - "Market App" so i think is running android.
ok, not to get ahead of ourselves, super Amoled is not a big upgrade over the standard amoled. And it does not in any way consumes less power, in fact bit more actually due to higher brightness setting and sunlight optimizations. (Don't listen to that other Samsung RP guy with location "ibq0", cause he isn't who u think he is; frankly not sure what he is trying to archieve.)
The super amoled display is very similar to standard, but removes this layer of air between display, and outside glass making image appear brighter and sharper than ever before. At the end, u'll see a big difference in sunlight conditions.
As for support if our products, we r doing our best.
PH1, pico projectors with lesser energy consumption, have a longer lifespan than ordinary projectors, up to 2 years with minimum use. We cannot replace burned out bulbs of in-build projectors, but we can and most certainly will offer you an upgraded model next year for you to stay up to date in latest tech.
cool, but projectors hv a certain lifespan for the lightbulb. what happens wen u surpass that lifespan? will samsung also sell separate projector lightbulbs specially for this phone or will they simply assume that it wont go out for about 4-5yrs so no1 wud need the lighbulbs? and is there some way of cleaning the projector if dust gets inside of it?
ty 2 any1 who can answer my Qs
gsmarena states it has an android eclair OS...there are other sites tehkseven who says its samsung own OS bada..lotsa confusion..i believe if they put in bada then it will b a complete phone and no company want to do that...the specs are completly wow..it makes u think "are they allowed to do that"

buba, 05 Mar 2010I love this phone, My boyfriend brought this phone for me on my birthday and I'm loving it... ... moreThis phone is yet to be released anyway, anywhere. So kindly stop saying imaginative stories of getting this.
Nokia phones are history, aren't they?
I had n85, n97 and now I have omnia2. Omnia2:better pictures, better videos, better procesor, better screen,.......
All features are better than nokia.
So, this one will be my next device.
Is there someone who realy knows (I mean who tested) how long the battery lasts when using the projector?????????
Hey guys. I am keen to see this Phone in my Phone Doesn't matter how much I need to Pay 4 it. Just tell me when will it be launched ?. Thats it.
I love this phone, My boyfriend brought this phone for me on my birthday and I'm loving it... I feel like it worth the money!!!
Compare this phone with the Omnia 2. Compare the processor. Omnia 2 really good so the 1GHz processor doesn't makes a big changes but if it 1GHz, it its the best phone to date. If you want this phone with 1GHz processor, lets vote this phone to the top like the 5800 XpressMusic. Make it leave a mark for 2 years.
Samsung RP, 05 Mar 2010I know everyone want and desire slim phones but if this one need to be at 12mm thick, it is wa... moreu mean to say ur a samsung spokesman, dnt tell me man. coz i m using samsung omnia hd, and dnt force me to abuse u for not supporting ur phones. but i know u r not the samsung guy
And I forgot to mention if you already know or not, Super AMOLED is an upgraded version of AMOLED which is at least 5 times better than the old AMOLED wheter in a dark place or under the sunlight. It's also saves more power consumption that the AMOLED.
I know everyone want and desire slim phones but if this one need to be at 12mm thick, it is way impossible because the projector is at least 12 to 13mm in thick. Sorry and we are upgrading this phone and the price range has been confirmed about 500 to 600 USD.
Almand, 04 Mar 2010but IR gives the advantage of making decent remotecontrol softwares to control your TV, Music ... morei think just nokia still build some of their phones with IR support ,i used to have a nokia phone with remote control software and it was nice and funny, their n900 has this feature but i didnt like its memo OS.. i am happy that another person is interested in IR for mobile phones..and i am wondering why the new phones do not support IR remote control any more!!!
