a build-up projector for a phone ? I think it's to much and the function is not maximum...
wow! built in projectore! great one! keep up the good work Samsung but the future issue would be the clarity of the output photo from the built in projector.... this make the phone very valuable to Executive people and lecturer....
Ling, 03 Mar 2010Such a good hp but with no infra red facility?? why??dude, not to be rude or anything to that effect...but IR is already obsolete when it comes to mobile phones...

Anonymous, 02 Mar 2010my six year old nokia 6600 is better than this ORLY!? You're 6600 has a 5MP camera and a built in projector? HA! I don't think so.
Are you stupid ? Could you read the specifications.
Really great phone and (like W880/M8920) with a special things not common ! Really waiting for this (after S8500Wave). I8520 coming on Q3 2010
Well one things for sure this thing is going to be very expensive. I feel it would have been better they supplied a pico projector in the box with the phone rather than an in- built one, it would have reduced the thickness plus the performance of the projector would have been better.
1ghz and ram 512...
i really hope it...
tv out too
samsung i really want buy this phone...
dont make phone like wave
not perfect yet
no dual speaker
so please make this phone legend pls....
i will buy it for sure if samsung change the hardware.
and not buy this phone if samsung not change it and still wait until another smartphone make requested phone.
king, 27 Feb 2010goodbye nokiayeah right... like this phone is gonna be a major seller and bring Samsung the 20% plus in market share they need to overtake Nokia... get your facts straight... personally, I think Samsung's Wave is gonna be a much stronger seller than the Beam...
Get rid of the projector.
Put in a Xenon flash, Faster processor, TV Out, more RAM and make it slighty thinner.
The projector is going to be a gimmick that you'll hardly use.
Anonymous, 28 Feb 2010800 Mhz procesor of this phone is old samsung custom apparently, so it's slower than omnia HD'... moreNoooo, are you sure there is no TV-out? Man I wanted to get this phone to add to my collection. But I would never ever buy a high end phone that does not have TV-out. I need to look deeper into this.
why do they put some weak kind of projector into a phone before putting good sensors and xenon-flahs in all of them? i don't get it. no one needs it, hdmi needs fewer space and is more common, so it's fragile as hell and some things that would be essential for the all in one gadget aren't here.
in addition, i can't understand why making this one so ugly when being able to build cuties like the wave. mh
