I purchased one galaxy beam but it was having no google play. Then I purchased another one but it was having the network problem. It often displayed the "circle" sign right on the spot where the signals icon is located and whenever I tried to make a phone call or send an SMS it reported "not registered on network" or "Insert Sim Card to access network services". I must also mention here that one of my close friends who firstly introduced the galaxy beam, has also the same problem. So galaxy beam is a fairly attractive phone though, but it has these problems and the company or manufacturer "SAMSUNG" must take notice of it and remove such defects.

u Must choose GSM ONLY see it it will work

I have some problems with my Beam.
At some point, out of the blue I can't make or receive phone calls. Phone is on, it shows full signal, but nothing. When someone calls me, it tells the person my phone is off. The only way I can fix it is by restarting the phone. Did factory reset, same thing.Does anyone else have this problem? I think I should take it to warranty

I have been trying to connect it to social network like whatsapp and viber but it fails to register my sim card but i can access any internet site pls friends help me to solve this problem pls just anyone with the idea about that am waiting

Samsung said that it will push out jelly bean for several phones like S2 and it have arrived the updated in January so I wondering when they will update this phone if any one know ??

about batteries :) I just left the phone idling for 5 days after it's been fully charged - quess how much battery it still has after 5 days ? It has 81% left !!! so I guess another 10 days in idling mode are easy :D Battery is nice , don't argue .

No I haven't solved. Returned the first one by warranty, got the second one - the problem persists.
It means all beams have the same problem. I just keep now auto, don't choose GSM.. 3G works fine,it's always available in city, and if I will be sometimes in forest, hope GSM won't let me down for couple hours... :/
