I have this phone for about 3 month and i have to say it's a great phone.Some people say that the camera is rubbish,i completely disagree i think it's great.And one more thing projector is awesome!!!!!

Hi, recently bought one. Phone is nice. But I have noticed one malfunction - if I set just GSM connection(not auto between GSM/WCDMA or just WCDMA) , it looses it in 24hrs, also disconnecting the SIM card. All I can do after that - just to reboot the phone.
On WCDMA, which is 3G connection phone doesn't have problem to keep connection, the problem appears just when I set it just on GSM, which I usually would like to set when phone is just on idling state - in that way battery is saved. But I can't, as I don't know when I'll be out of connection. Can yoiu pls try yours in same way , setting it for GSM and leaving at least for 24hrs, to see if you don't have same problem ? If I set auto, then it usually connects to WCDMA..

Ok Guys, I'm close to 6 months using my Galaxy Beam, and so far, I haven't got any bad issues to my phone. Like others says, Battery is superb, the Video great great great, and the projector, no fuss.
Even though i bought this quite expensive, at least its worth it. and so limited here in the Philippines, only 200 stocks. Lucky for me.
The memory, yeah its a 4GB, but c'mon, its better to save on external, so u can back up on PC.
For the Camera Zoom, hey, There's Play Store, you should check it out.
All i wanted is to have a tripod or a dock for my phone. and maybe a Boom Bass Speaker. I'm relieved!

Anyone else has laggy youtube videos?I mean the motion is not quite alright...watchable...but still very annoying..anyone?
when i play videos even 1080p on mx player everything is fine...
Recently i did 2 updates-- one maybe 8mb reboot and another very small not even 1mb...anyone know the changes?The only change i noticed was the projector brightness menu changed to low normal high..used to have slider with 3 spots actually..

6Gb RAM means 6Gbit so it is around 732MByte!
8GB storage capacity shared. 2GByte ROM for Android OS, and ~5.6GByte for user storage.
732Mbyte RAM shared on ~128MByte user space and ~600Mbyte RAM.

It's the same for ram memory. You will see only 554MB,
the rest is hiden and is for the system.
