very2 poor update by samsung.
This i8530. Not using super amoled like i8520. Downgrade camera only 5MP. And the last no corning gorilla glass. Or minimum i hope using scratch resistan. But there is nothing.

Anonymous, 25 Nov 2012is galaxy beam 8530 better than galaxy s2? S2 is better than Galaxy Beam coz it is a flagship phone way back of 2011 while Galaxy Beam is a mid range phone only. But Galaxy Beam is way cheaper than S2 and has a rich retail box (2 batteries included, phone dock that can charge the extra battery etc) Galaxy Beam has projector whereas S2 doesn't have. Both phones can be upgraded to v4.1 (Jelly Bean) I still prefer Galaxy Beam over S2 due to its cheaper price and rich retail package

The battery is overall good. Hopefully this phone can be my mp3 player. Coz music is my life.

sam, 30 Oct 2012why is there no flash player and how do i update to 4.1?There is flash, but you have to download it from their site cause they have removed it from the market(play)

Absolutely love this phone! Projector is really awesome and the features are generally great :) no regrets in buying this!

stella, 10 Nov 2012me either...i just wanted this phone because i wanna use that projector before i sleep or some... morei really love this phone especially the built-in projector really makes this phone a one of a kind. It's like having a mini cinema in your home while playing youtube videos, HD videos, looking your own pictures etc. thinking all of those things really makes the owner of this phone like in a heaven. Gonna buy this Galaxy Beam in the near future. And another plus points is that it is upgradeable to android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) a must have phone from Samsung today. Thanks Samsung
