The phone looks awesome.
Too bad Samsung haven't made an updated version of the Galaxy Beam for the American market as yet.
China soooo lucky....lol.
The rest of us will be patiently waiting.

Battery is quite good, specially with the separate docking charger. Plus spare battery
Purely entertainment phone
For picture taking, don't expect it give depth images. No zooming

I really hate samsung for ditching the beam like that.. but i still like the beam.. i don't own a big tv so watching anime at night is one of the best experience of having it so far.. and playing games with the projector on.. if you will buy the phone because of the projector, then go for it. if not, then just get another phone..

Agreed, i don't mind mistakes as long as company come out and apologise or at least say something, Ignoring us means we should Never Trust Samsung again...

Abandoned this Samsung smartphone, the i8530 betrayed buyers who believed in the promised update. We paid a high price and had no consideration of Samsung. Where is the official update promentido and published by specialized websites. We all purchasers of the Galaxy Beam're frustrated because two years after the promise from Samsung to update the phone to 4.1.2 was NOT fulfilled. We're stuck in this cellular overcome 2.3 gingerbread, a shame! Samsung fulfills its promise and update our Galaxy Beam now! past time. If you do not keep your promise never to buy anything from this brand.

amal kim, 07 Mar 2014i couldn't open my mobile after too many pattern attempts. even when using the Google account?this method deletes your data.. you can try by trying recovery mode, turn off your phone.. then press together (Volume Up+Power Button+ Home Button).. use the volume rocker to select from the menu and choose "wipe data/factory reset" and press the power button..
