about opera mini 5 beta - it's still a beta version.. u'd find a whole lot of bugs in it.. dont bother too much. i've been using it too and faced similar problems but i'm sure the opera guys are working on it.. i have opera mini 4.X installed too :P that works just fine but i like the features in version 5. hope a stable version 5 gets released soon..
Well guys this seems to be really great phone. With so many multimedia features and 16M display, how do you find battery life. Can anyone help,

I also downloaded the opera mini5 beta which runs on java?? but its soooooooooooooo slow
Do u have the same problems?
2 Months with the phone. What a device, still liking as new. I don't think I can use a Non AMOLED phone after this, the screen is Gorgeous. Wanna use until next Omnia HD launches. What about other owners? Leave some feedback.
i'd like to get the jet as its' specs are exactly what i need. however it seems that the omnia hd is a stable phone while the jet isn't.
Is it true though? is the hd a stable phone?
Ed, 20 Oct 2009Hey Rohit and vbhv007, I know what you mean about the size of the phone. When I first saw it... moreand yes, i agree the phone is quite slippery. and the back of the phone is all shiny and ready to get tonnes and tonnes of scratches. so you've got to hold this baby firmly and take care to see that u dont get scratches on its glossy back surface.
vbhv007, 20 Oct 2009HI Rohit
It's really amazin how we find some people with so many similarities and some time... moreyes, i did get a leather cover and it is quite adequate. but i'd like to tell you 2 things about it.
1 - initially you're gonna find it extremely hard to remove the phone once u've put it in the pouch. the trick to overcome this is to not try to pull the phone out of the cover, but to hold the phone firmly with one hand and pull the cover (pouch) out over it cuz u'll get more grip to hold the pouch than the smooth edges of the phone. and be rest assured, u'll get used to it and with time, with continuous use of the pouch, it'll get a bit loose, so u wont have to struggle too hard.
2 - WARNING: do NOT put in the phone the wrong way. the leather pouch is so designed to have the camera on one side and the screen on the other. if u put in the phone the wrong way (interchange the sides), u're in for big trouble. i've done this a couple of times and struggled really hard to get the phone out. it eventually did, but seriously, u feel ur life stuck and choked till u get the phone out. so be careful!
kausthubh, 17 Oct 2009hi i read your posts about the bugs in this phone... may i ask what exactly these bugs are? s... morethese are small small issues that you would encounter while using this phone. they're not of prime importance though and the phone still works great!
I live in Indonesia, and this phone hasn't released yet...I wanna ask from u guys, how much the price of this awesome gadget?
Off course it will be different price in different countries...but i need it 4 comparison & estimation.
Thx a lot...
vbhv007, 20 Oct 2009HI Rohit
It's really amazin how we find some people with so many similarities and some time... moreHey Rohit and vbhv007,
I know what you mean about the size of the phone. When I first saw it on it's own it looks pretty huge, but when measured up against the competition it doesn't seem so bad. It fits in your pocket really well because its a little rounded and very shiny - you have to pay attention when using it because it's a little 'slippy', but then again I'm in the same boat as you guys with the big hands as I'm 6'7" and used to be able to palm a basketball!
they should create omnia 2 with 4.3 inch screen ,12.1 mp camera,1ghz processor with everything upgraded to 3.5/4 G
rohit, 17 Oct 2009you're most welcome :)
about the size issue. believe me, at first i was shocked, rather overw... moreHI Rohit
It's really amazin how we find some people with so many similarities and some times the opposite. What a coincidence that You are a 6 Footer coz so am I (6' 2" to be exact). So I gues u cover the size issue :)
Thanks for the link. It is very useful. I see that you must also have done a lot of research before you bought your own phone. Now that you talk so well about it, I am really dying to see hhhhhow it feels in hand. But be sure I'll find someone somehow. But tell me, did the Indian Box Pack (ie. your pack)contain a protective leather cover also. I know that they give it in Samsung Star.
