Anonymous, 11 Aug 2009yes I myself dont believe n97 at all, even if the cameras were the same, i would prefer i8910
... morescreen is like you have a plasma tv in your hand. ultra wide angle view. blakcs are as black as they are.
OLED is a great technology each pixel lights up by itself, there is no any back light under it. And its even save some more energy than the lcd ones.
but there is a disadvantage, since there is no mirror under the display the sun legibility is rather poor compare to lcd technology

But I want to know if u can somehow use Nokia PC Suite and Samsung PC studio on the same machine?
Mike, 10 Aug 2009Just a word of warning.

- Unistall all Samsung/Nokia software and drivers from your computer
- Install USB drivers first
- Then install PC Studio that came with your phone
As long as you make sure that you install the drivers before installing PC Studio, it should work.
In case of the i8910, you don't have to send the phone to Samsung to update. It works through PC Studio if you follow the above steps. I have even flashed and installed new software on my i8910 (this similar formatting and installing new windows on your computer).
This phone sure does have a few prolems with software. This is probably the reason why Samsung delayed its worldwide release. I'm 100% sure Samsung will soon fix all issues.

Samsung announce 1GHz ARM CORTEX-A8 Hummingbird CPU
( http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_announce_1ghz_arm_cortexa8_hummingbird_cpu-news-1042.php )
However, if they'll make a new version, people WILL know. If it's it, then it isn't out yet. Else, it's the normal Omnia HD, which isn't bad either.
I am posting here to tell everyone about the price of the Samsung Omnia HD and also, my opinion of the Nokia N97 and this phone. Well, first of all, I just brought the HD for only 590 with free overnight shipping. Go to CellsWholeSale.com. They are selling it for 599.99. Just call them and ask them for a 10 dollars coupon and also free overnight shipping. They will agree to it. This is definitely the best place to buy cell phones. I just brought a Samsung S8000 from them like 3 weeks ago. I got it for 30 bucks cheaper then everywhere else and with free overnight shipping. To top it off, If you find any site with a lower price, they will beat it and still offer free overnight shipping. CellsWholeSale.com is definitely the best site to buy cell phones. Trust me, I do not work for them. I am a consumer, just like you guys. I just want everyone to buy cheap phones. Now, to the Nokia N97 comparisons. I still have not gotten the Omnia HD yet, since it will be here wednesday. But my brother has the N97. I played with it for a few days before. I can honestly say, it is a major, major disappointment. I mean, I was waiting for the N97 to come out since I first saw pictures of it on gsmarena. So, I waited over half year to actually get the phone. Once I got it, I was amazed by the looks of the phone. I think its beautiful. But that is all it has, looks. The phone is soooo slow, I was about to break it. I am serious. It crashed on me a few times in those few days. It lagged like no tomorrow when I tried to delete and put songs in. Even my brother, who first thought it was the best phone he ever used, says it sucks after 2 weeks of using it. I am serious, Nokia done a really bad job with the N97. They are actually coming out with a similar version of the N97 for t-mobile very soon. But with the same processor as the Iphone 3gs and this Omnia HD. That should have been what the N97 is. But the difference is, the slider does not open up the same. Well, in conclusion. I am a very very experience cell phone user. I love cell phones. I had countless cell phones. So, from my experience, I really think this Samsung Omnia HD is the best phone for the money. If you think about it, 590 for a top of the line phone is not bad at all. I am sure even after 6 months, this will still be the best phone, specs wise, that is out. There will be phones from LG and Sony or even Nokia with either 8 or 10 or 12 MP cameras or HD video, but none of those will have both. Plus, even if they have both, the price will be around 700 or more when it first comes out. By that time, this Omnia HD will be around mid 500. So, I am sure from now until Jan-Feb, This Samsung Omnia HD will be one of the best phones out, if not the best phone. Not to mention only for 500 something. Pound for Pound, Dollar per Specs, this phone is the best.
As many reader post that this phone showing in Samsung India Mobile Upcoming section with 1GHz processor. But as per Gsmarena it is ARM Cortex A8 600 MHz. So,it is very much confusing for me. Is it only writing mistake in "Samsung India' site or something other ealse.
