I use Orange network and it is quite good (at least it is better at my home than O2 used to be).
This phone is freaking awesome.. At first I was hesitant to buy this unit because of the lack of an external keypad / keyboard, but the on-screen keypad works so much better than an external one.. Texting is a breeze unlike with the iphone's qwerty. The fact that it has less width than other touch-based phones probably contributes to it's easeness of use. Also, the screen clarity is probably the best ever on a mobile phone unit.. 8mp Camera and HD video, needless to say, works wonders plus the 3.8" screen makes an excellent viewfinder.. Battery life is also great. It lasted me 3-4 days with normal usage.. Stereo speakers are also really good. Almost all websites are rendered in it's full content and it plays flash videos as well! whoa! I also never had a problem with call quality unlike the one stated in this website's review. I can also say that it's processor speed is very much felt while using it. Probably the only gripe I have is the fact that it's a fingerprint magnet and the creepy WIDGETS!! Up to now, I haven't quite figured out their worth.. Otherwise, I can say that this is the best phone I've ever owned and I've tried quite a number at that..

I don't have this phone yet but look at the views of a lot of owners. Almost all say this phone is great. the main problems are mostly experienced by people havin Orange firmware in UK. I cannot comment on call quality but I checked the video playback and user interface in a shop and it is amazing.
Ben, 17 Jul 2009Hi, just wondering if someone could please help me, just wondering why when I go into the memo... moreThe 256 Ram is memory the phone uses to work on. The 42 MB memory is storage memory.
I posted my opnion last week after having the Omnia HD for a day. I was very disappointed then, but now, after one week and loads of research, I have to say I am very happy with the phone.
1. Battery Life. It is excellent. It lasts over 2 days making calls, browsing etc...I read the trick in a forum. You just need to turn off some of the "hidden" applications, such as the "video sharing", "packet data change to when needed instead of when available (that really drains your battery). Also, I turn the mobile to 2G when I am not browsing (also, this extends your battery life dramatically.)
2. Browsing. I still have to give this one to the iphone 3GS, but it is fast and, thanks to the big screen, it is nice to read.
3. Video and music. Video is a 10 out of 10. Amazing! I have watched several films and, again, the battery lasts for around 5 hours of continuous reproduction (I was on a long journey :)). Music is Ok thanks to the new codec.
4. No need of itunes!!! Transferring files from your computer is just so easy! Copy and paste. That's it. Cannot be simpler.
5. GPS. I have installed the Garmin XT. It was a little bit complicated but it is done and working really well. I also own a XDA Stellar, which takes several minutes to find the signal. Omnia finds it within a few seconds.
6. Texting. Great. I do not miss the keyboard of my Stellar. I have to say that my fingers are quite big, but I have no problems at all.
At this point my main complain is the lack of applications iphone has and you need to hack the phone to download Nokia's, but, apart from that, it is a mobile I strongly recommend. With patience and time you will get on with it and will enjoy.

Im just so overwhelmed by the specs made by gsmarena that i really struck about it. i'd also wont be that impressed about its features now that im using an ipod touch; all im after is a good communication device. but as per your experience, i guess i still have 2 weeks to think about it before its release here in UAE next month.
Anonymous, 17 Jul 2009i was wondering the same thing mine said 42mbDo you reckon it means the ram which is supposed to 256 isnt enough ? Please can someone answer the query. Thanks.

I don't believe you owned the phone. Your opinions are just that, your opinions. And you're allowed to have them. But yours are wrong.
Anyone considering buying this phone, this guy is a fanboy, so don't bother listening to him.
does this phone comes with MS Exchange to sync email, calender and contacts ??? just like nokia symbian phones . . .
Hi, just wondering if someone could please help me, just wondering why when I go into the memory section of my phone it only says 48mb approx for phone internal, it has the mass memory 8gb or just less. Just wondering why the 48mb only says 48mb, shouldnt it say 256mb ? Or am I wrong. If someone could please get back to me thatd be muchly appreciated.

ceejei14, 16 Jul 2009anonymous, you seemed pretty upset (terribly dissatisfied) with the omnia hd. Was it really t... moreif your not used to high end phones then the phone should do you just fine, but after using n95 and iphone i was expecting something more superior against those 2 phones so overall if you compare to n95 it can keep up with it in every department if not better, so to me on a phone the most important feature is reception because its a phone and you call people, n95 is superb , i8910 dropped calls everywhere (nor cal area), also cant hear very well, n95 speakers are loud and crisp, i8910 just loud not quite as crisp, i8910 extremely big and awkward to text, n95 fits good in hand, i8910 battery sucks a s s YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED GUARANTEED, n95 last all day if not 2 days, i8910 web browsing didn't even open full webpages just mobile version of it, now as far as video went go to youtube and see for yourself very choppy, audio is a 0 from 1-10 , n95 very good video and awesome audio quality, i 8910 symbian 5th is garbage i will not buy another nokia or samsung with it installed, iphone is light years ahead in that field lets just say the only thing better on i8910 was the pics now mind you this is just my opinion based on using other high end phones if this is your 1st high end phone you will love it
