Samsung phone lover, 04 Jul 2009Samsung i8910 Omnia HD is the best phone ever. It is even better if it has a Windows Mobile OS... moreif its winmo, i wouldnt have bough it, all hd videos are 24fps, from bluray or d9 movies are 24fps, human eye cant notice the different, yes xenon flash would be sweet, but again, winmo just not my type
Samsung i8910 Omnia HD is the best phone ever. It is even better if it has a Windows Mobile OS built in. Samsung should fix the HD video recording frame rate to at least 30 fps and add a xenon flash. This phone will be superior to all other phones out there if it has all the specs I've mentioned above. I will surely buy this phone if they have all those features....Anyone agree?
Hmmmmmm....Of all the mobiles I have seen Samsung have the best in designs. I never liked touch screen and big mobiles before but when I saw this I fell inlove with it, simple, beautiful, elegant, a mobile with style. I am planning to buy it. I hope the performance is good too. Anyways, Cheers Samsung! Keep up the good work! ;)

Samsung i8910 Omnia HD preview: Getting closer
Samsung i8910 Omnia HD preview: First look
these the 2 "reviews" you're talking about? coz to me it says "Preview"... with a P in front of it..
and review with a p in front of it makes it a Preview. And by definition a Preview is prior to release. a forward sight... and a Review with no P is looking over what you already have... hindsight...
so yeah it has the word "review" in it, but they both have a "P" at hte start, which spells. Preview.
Ok, now we have that out of the way
the latest firmware at hte moment is the ie7 one, with the 2 new ones to be released shortly.

i have this phone with orange, can some please post a step by step manual to install new firmware and unbrand this phone PLEASE!
is that true about the firmware ukbooey i checked on samsung not long ago and coulnt see any updates firmware wise
I have recently got hold of the new unbranded firmware for the omnia hd this mean no more can oranges software clog up the memory. The phone runs twice as fast the camera is sharper and faster to respond no waiting for orange in between photos. faster GPS, in proved battery, basicly All the functions that samsung intended the phone to have are there with the new update i8910xxie7 ***this is available free on the internet do NOT pay for it***
samsungi8910omnia.com sorry if this is classed as spam but its unfair people are paying for the work given out on this site for free
Ho Ho, 03 Jul 2009There's already a review out on PhoneArena. If you people cannot understand the difference between a preview and review why are you posting here. Everyone of us wants a review and we are not blind we can see there are two previews but we are asking for review.
I'm posting this again in the hope someone can help me.
I got the phone on the 16th June. yesterday I noticed that the screen wasn't auto locking so I phoned Orange, they asked me for the IMEI number, said it was a hardware falt and that some guy would bring me a new one today.
Guess what same issue!.
it tells me the phones locked and to hold the lock key to access the functions, but there active unless I lock the phone manually
