I just have a question. I'm from the Philippines and I want to buy a Samsung i8910 HD even though its not available and there's this company MOQ who sells it for 300USD. Can someone verify if this is legit? This is the website: http://www.buysell.ph/-2/posts/4_Buy_and_Sell/25_Electronics_Gadgets/82863_F_S_UNLOCKED_SAMSUNG_OMNIA_i8910_OMNIA_HD_NOKIA_N97_32GB_APPLE_IPHONE_3G_BLACKBERRY_STORM_HTC_HD.html
Fixing the Audio..
Now Samsung consider it a problem, so we can now expect that they are going to fix it!!
From BenM of the Samsung Inov.:
"Escalated the AAC issue through the development team to understand the problem, through the engineering organisation to try to understand whether this is a defect or is by design, escalated through the management side to alert them to the need to plan for firmware updates, escalated through the management side to alert them to the damage this issue is causing"
Can someone please, with all honesty recommend me!
-The possibilty of the new iPhone!?!
-or the Omnia HD,
I like the idea, of tv out (is it a good idea to want to watch movies to on bigger tv via your phone! When you go and stay with mates? does the fm transmitter replace that gadget you buy for the ipod in the car? So would it work with the saved music on the phone?
is the Ram a big deal? and the processor (I mean dont the people that build them know?)
Iterntet browser in all simplicity is a must!
So which one? I really like the N97 but I have been reading forums none stop and the ram and processor is making me paronoid.
I have just got back to the UK so i do not have a phone or contract yet, but would like to make my guided decision worth while.
Honestly thanks in advance for the person that will reply, firstname.lastname@example.org is my email, dont bother moking it, dont really want to publish one with my name! Many thx!
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970These unlock codes don't work for the HD phone. The only code I can find that works is the IMEI code: *#06#
Ive had this phone for over a week now and im really enjoying it, this phone is really good and the screen is asmazing, i aint got round to downloading too many applications on the phone, or testing out things like camera, making HD videos, etc.... ive just been uploading my music, videos and pictures from my N95 phone
I cant seem able to play flash videos though when im on certain websites, for example if i go to www.nba.com, if i try and watch highlights of a basketball game on the website, im not able too :o( it says i need to install adobe flash player, is this because of the Orange network blocking flash or is there an application i can use to view watching highlights of things that require flash??
Can this phone synchronize contacts, calendar, and tasks with Microsoft Outlook?
Technology_Master, 29 May 2009I got my Omnia HD yesterday from Orange and have managed to unlock it to all networks, it took... morei have a branded orange mobile.i see that you have unlocked the device ,is there any way off getting this beast of a phone to work on all networks, reason why is that the orange coverage in my area is crap
Does anyone know if the Omnia HD ewill have Handwriting Recognition. I was told some months back that the release version would have this feature but I do not see it listed anywhere. Thanks.
Technology_Master, 29 May 2009I got my Omnia HD yesterday from Orange and have managed to unlock it to all networks, it took... moreAre you able to let me/us in on how you unlocked the phone? Any special kit required?
Technology_Master, 29 May 2009I got my Omnia HD yesterday from Orange and have managed to unlock it to all networks, it took... moreHi MAster,
I love this phone and have waited ages for it to be released, and now that it I am one happy bunny :)
Maybe my expectations are low but I really do not know what people who do not have the phone are moaning about???? It really an astounding bit of kit. A multi-media tour de force......
So, are you going to spill the beans as to how you unlocked it? and what are the actual benefits of unlocking the phone?
Look forward to your reply,
Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970I m not sure if there is orange in carribean-
so it has a branded software means that some menu icons are changed for orange and it is network locked. you would have to unlock it. if I were you I would wait 2 weeks and then buy it simlockfree from play.com or somewhere else
i am a fan of the internet on the iphone, how does the internet on the i8910 compare?
Anonymous, 29 May 2009There is absolutely no competition between this and the N97. The Omnia HD beats the N97 hands ... moreThis is quite a well structure statement. You almost got me with a whole thesis reply, fella! But here is my reply in the same 2 paragraphs.
It is not an Omnia upgrade because it is in a different OS platform. HD recording without acceptable and bearable sound is intolerable for the price at this stage.
I got my Omnia HD yesterday from Orange and have managed to unlock it to all networks, it took me a while but I knew it would be possible!! This has to be the most amazing piece of mobile technology to date!!
There is absolutely no competition between this and the N97. The Omnia HD beats the N97 hands down in every department! Processing power, graphical capability, screen quality, camera and video, everything! The only thing the Nokia has is a larger internal memory. However the Samsung has plenty and can always be expanded with a micro SD.
Take it from somebody that owns the HD, it is a cracking phone and will not be beaten spec wise for a very long time. Some people have been slating the Omnia HD on here, but i'm certain you will find that these are the people who do not own it!
whish is better? this or the nokia n97?
i like the idea of the keyboard on the n97 bt the HD has beter internet.
