That video is not like the samples I’ve seen in the reviews, the picture is noisy just like any other phone, but then with a sensor that small could you really expect much better. This is defiantly not HD lol, but thanks for the upload.
Can anybode upload this file one more time? The download limit is reached. Or upload it to another site, please.
STEFAN, 17 May 2009indoor tested:2-3 minutes to get like 6 satelits.Didn't test it outside yet.whew thnx.. n0t dat bad. .just like my n95 8gb. .
Thanks for the rapidshare link Stefan. Unfortunately, the audio is just dreadful. I can't say the video quality of the clip is that great either.
Here is that video on rapid share:http://rapidshare.com/files/233993205/Video001.mp4.html
Omnia HD plays video with a max bitrate of about 8 Mbps (it is awesome), but! My Canon A720 PowerShot, records VGA video with bitrate of exactly 17332 Kbps, (remeber, it is VGA resolution) so, an HD 720p video with the bitrate of 8 Mbps, is simply LOW quality, (I am not bashing Omnia HD!) and when you can not watch your HD videos via TV-Out port on your TV, what's the use of it?

Used to have the app in the background problem with my N95... just have to make sure you use the exit function in the options menu rather than close, bizarrely if you use the close function, it does tend to leave them running in the background.
Relax Stephan. The phone has 256 of ram you will never take it up with all apps rununig at once. Maybe you re not choosing the menu - exit in apps? The apps are running in background if ya press reb button. The proper way is to choose menu in the app ant choose exit.
Also you can try UCWeb
Vidas, 17 May 2009""Applications are still runing at background even after you quit from them" maybe there is... morei didn't find anthing to switch it off yet....samsung made misstake with any st.pid symbian garbage-yes symbian is garbage---windows mobile is only way to go !!!!!! my old htc touch elf with wm 6.1 is outperforming symbian garbage....ooooh misstake this os..
In all fairness to Samsung, their normal browser for this phone is Opera 9.5, Unfortunately, because the phone is from Orange direct, they have put their own software into Symbian, hence the Orange World, Orange media etc. If you compare the Orange main grid menus (think this has already been noted somewhere) to the sim free version, there are a few things Orange have tampered with. Still not as notorious for doing it as Vodafone are, but annoying never the less.
