Good! I can still keep my Omnia ... morei dont think there will be a winmo version of this one.. they are all rumors, i dont think samsung will create such an stupid idea.. i mean, if they really want to make it in winmo, they should redesign the phone to make it another model.
all of them are rumors, in that presentation, i think, is just the symbian omniaHD, not the winmo. as you can, beatDJ is also there.
WOW! where can I find this phone? I tried newegg and amazon and no dice..:( Also I was wondering if T-Mobile USA's 3G will be supported.
Anonymous, 20 Mar 2009The battle begins : LG Arena Vs Omnia HDNone win in this battle,LG Arena is mor affordable and more compact and has also high end features,I don't like big phones,so I'm going o buy the Arena, the Arena is the best multimedia phone, while the Samsung OmniaHD is the best multimedia SMARTPHONE,due it has an OS,so,for other person that wants a smartphone, this is the best, better than Nokia,SE andeven LG on the smartphones!

Good! I can still keep my Omnia i900 until the end of my August vacation! The RCA plugs for TV out on the Omnia i900 is much suited for traveling. The HDMI from the Omnia HD is more for a personal usage at home.
But I do need an upgrade for my Omnia i900 by the end of the year.
ARM Cortex processor should be better at multitasking than Marvell (over by at least 2 times) while consuming less energy at 600 MHz in speed. That means more battery life can now be more accessible for usage in the device.
However, the Omnia HD will have to use the extra energy for the OLED capacitive touchscreen at 3.7 inches. I know there that I will need an extended battery in the future there already.
And soon, I will see myself surfing the web with full IE6 access while listening to my favorite music tune. Let me over to my agenda for a quick reminder update:
"Woohoo! I am getting insane!!!"
iam selling my iphone for this

it's ganna crush the iphone for sure
they should have made it free!!!!cmon we can download movies for free on torrents!!!theres nothing new about this site......
top news of the day

so we have touch wiz, symbian, windows mobile 6.5
Anonymoose, 19 Mar 2009If you had an HDMI to RCA cable yes, otherwise that would obviously be impossible. In that case, there is no way out, dongle is a must for this phone.
dorky24, 19 Mar 2009On the omniahd official website, they say HD recording at 720p can go up to 3 hours. If you do... moreI don't know how accurate is the information provided by http://infotainment.samsungmobile.com/, it does not mention anything about the FM transmitted in the spec, and it said Radio Recording : Yes.
But i don't find any web sites so far saying it can do radio recording, not even in GSM web, checked with one of the Samsung dealers, said can't do radio recording,so which one should i believe ?
this phone just looks and sounds awesome.
video at 720p @ 30fps thats one hell of an achievement.
i wouldn't worry about the size its whats in it that matters.
also the oled display, for people who dont know what this is its organic light emmiting diode, each pixel creates its own light unlike standard led have just one back light.
pretty big! larger than the iphone..cannot keep that on my pocket! i have an omnia i900...pretty nice! last but not the least my iphone 3g! very nice...
This phone is a true KING of all phones! Screw the SE IDOU, believe me they can't release it till the end of this year just like the XPERIA. they just have a dummy during the CES show!! Think about it! what they have is just an imagination. They just released this IDOU in order to steal some attention!! but what they do have is NOTHING!!! lol
And it is now official, OMNIA HD will come at both symbian and winmo versions. i've watched it in news.
