Nokia N 97 & X Peria, what do they have in common, an antique like key board. They are museum pieces & nothing more. Accept the fact that Nokia does not enjoy the luxury of being tagged, the world leaders in mobile technology, any more. Samsung leads & LG, HTC are fast on their heels.
Um, where's my slide-out QWERTY keyboard? The Idou doesn't even have this. I'll definitely be going with either the N97 or the Xperia X1 this year. I'm a very unhappy iPhone 3G user and have wanted a full-featured phone with a physical keyboard for the longest time now. 720P at 24 FPS. Big deal. The video doesn't look that much better than it does on some other phones, and we have yet to see how it captures any motion. And 8MP? Who needs photos THAT big anyway? What else does this phone REALLY have going for it. I don't see what the Idou has either, personally. 12MP is enough to cover your living room wall.
i think this is the best mobile in the world for now is the best mobile ans i like it more sony ericsson ana nokia
The phone looks nice and slick. but common... the Omnia is using WM6.1, and why suddenly they decide to make this phone with Symbian? it ruin everything!

Ryo Jin, 20 Feb 2009Screen resolution limited by OS. Symbian S60 5th Edition using 640x360 pixel. It look like a nice looking and design phone but for some reason Samsung phone folowing up Nokia format does not work. They got long way to go to get their program working. I had all kind of problem with INNOV8.
In general look like a nice and slim phone but they are better choices out their. Iphone with 15,000 Application is like AMX say do not leave hoen without it. I can get every possible information at home or on road from Iphone, Movie, Music, Podcast news minute by minute update, my banking information, weather, stock, flight info and tracking, there are so many things.
Then looking for good phone that been there for years and proven to do good at least on software but no quality of their phone last two years is Nokia. Nokia N97 coming out out preform the Omnia and E55 with business addition worldwide 3G capability. IT has all you need but not maybe the best camera. But I never buy Phone just beacuse the Camera. I want a good photo I go store and buy a good Camera. Camera on phone is jsut for fun and not real picture taking. I had INNOV8 8M Camera can not come close to my Sony Camera.
The Samsung Omnia HD is great looking phoen but they are other new phoen coming from Nokia or Sony that out preform Omnia.
Between this one and the Idou, I'll go for the Idou. I just think that the Idou look a lot smoohter and faster.
xingan87, 20 Feb 2009It will be great, if they r using VGA LCD. no improvement on this area yet.Screen resolution limited by OS. Symbian S60 5th Edition using 640x360 pixel.
Hey, even though this has a 8mp camera, will this be able to take clear photo's at night with the regular LED flash?
It will be great, if they r using VGA LCD. no improvement on this area yet.
I'm very glad it's going to run Symbian!!!
I've been using an Omnia and Windows Mobile is a piece of crap.
GIO, the video recording is in 720p HD mode....the 24fps is much better than the regular 30fps
