They suggested I call Samsung to see if they can help me. I plan to do that in the morning.

i have been using this phone for two days .its everything is fine even battery life, the only thing i am unhappy with is very low volume. i have already had galaxy s twice before this and i found that better than this one. can anyone help me to enhance the volume.
I hate this phone and all galaxy series. It's just great performans but battery life like my HP laptop, few hours and phone is dead
Samsung, WE NEED BIGER BATTERY!!!
If theres 3G on this phone, how can I use it on my samsung galaxy i897?
Anonymous, 29 Aug 2011@nemo : Yes it does. I'm using one for my CappyIm sorry, my 1650 battery is for i9003 not S2
i use this although i have iphone 4 and i really love it and i am really impressed by it but there is no camera secondary camera and no flash in camera and only this thing make me little upset and only this thing make me sad and all other function and its design rocks
A fantastic phone. Very powerful graphics accelerator for it's time and screaming fast processor. Not to mention, easy to overclock from 1.0 to 1.2 without even needing to touch the stock voltage (I use Tegrak for OCing). Also, the 720p video's are very nice, very vibrant colors.
The stock AT&T ROM is horrible. If you want to unleash this phone's potential you absolutely need to install a custom ROM. Battery life could be much better.
I would definitely recommend this phone to anyone who is tech savvy.
taher, 10 Aug 2011is it upgradable to latest gingerbread?Yes it can be upgraded and works perfectly very fast
Captivate, Vibrant, Mesmerize, Fascinate... i feel bad for the american users, really.
All those variants of a stock phone (Galaxy S) obviously lead to a lack of support, and to more restraint communities.
Here in Europe, we have the original Galaxy S, whatever the carrier, with slight software layers and tweaks. But it remains a true I9000 Galaxy S nonetheless, which means an easier access to firmware upgrades and a more developped community.
Anonymous, 08 Jul 2011That's not true at all. I get around 24 hours on standby. Something is wrong with your phone.correct
yeah, 6 hours of standby is a broken phone, for sure. If I literally never turned on the screen, my phone would be find for a couple days.
I don't make hardly any calls, but with a fair amount of texts and internet browsing, with a bit of gaming, I get through the day no problem. By the end of the night I'm usually around 10-15% remaining.
