Anonymous, 02 Jul 2010There is a flash lite app - it just lights up the screen.Right, that app works like this: you flash the scene with the screen then quickly spin your hand to take a picture with the cam.
Such software was "designed in California and assembled in China", as iPhone 4's antenna.
The main difference with Iphone4 is that you can use it as a phone while if you hold the Iphone4 wrongly you are losing reception and is not a phone any more!!!
Well I was very glad to see this mobile from Samsung, but anyone here knows if it is going to be available in India....just like X10 for asia and X10a for the U.S?? I know it is similar to galaxy S but the looks are quite good....

Looks alot like Xperia X10
I second the question about the front facing camera. Does this model really have one? I know that they removed it in the "Vibrant" T959 Galaxy S version that's for T-Mobile and Bell Canada.
Also, as for using outside of USA, according to the specs, it's got:
2G Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
3G Network HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100
So, GSM is worldwide, and 3G is good for North America and Europe too (2100). Unless the specs are wrong...
By the way, anyone know how I can get one of these phones from AT&T if I don't live in the USA?
From the press releases and hands on videos ive seen so far. I dont see a front facing camera. Doesnt it even have one?

Alman, 29 Jun 2010Unlock phones can be used anywhere around the world. I usually unlocked my AT&T phones and... moreNot enough to be unlocked so that to be used: the frequencies have to match with the local network. 3G used in America is not compatible with Europe and Africa due to 850MHz used by AT&T and 1700MHz used by T-MOBILE USA. On GSM/EDGE USA uses 850 and 1900. On GSM/EDGE Europe uses 900 and 1800. Unfortunately there is no phone that has all 3G frequencies as GSM/EDGE usually have. Unlocking is not related to the frequencies supported which is a hardware capability, it is related to network ID that is accepted and it is a software restriction which can be removed.
