omar ahmed, 29 Jul 2011No I'm stuck with android Froyo 2.2
This is my android version, I bought my mobile with 2.2 Froyo.@ Omar Ahmed
The message " This version of the device cannot be updated " means it is an unsupported version of Android. I had the same message with my SGS on Virgin Mobile UK. The version of Android I had was JPW which was specific to Virgin Mobile. What I had to do then was to flash my phone with an update using Odin.
I would suggest you Google for instructions on how to do this yourself. There are plenty of guides available on the internet.
Best of luck
are any phones better than this in this range of price now
HTC Mozart has quite similar specs with Windows Mobile 7
and costs 16.5k
I have been using Nokia all my life. This is the 1st time I am using a Samsung. Was a bit foxed at the beginning, but now I have come to really love this Phone. It is a beauty with so many hidden features that I keep discovering everyday. I recommend this phone to anyone who is a Mobile Lover and is extremely careful with his/her phone
