hi guys...android 2.3.3 is it official for samsung galaxy S....I mean is it released by samsung developers or what...
nasty, 23 Jun 2011Thanks very one... But then why Samsung saying Official upgrade would take time to come?I honestly don't know about the "delay" that they've said...Android 2.3.3 has been released in a lot of regions as you will see in samfirmware or xda-developers. In fact, my region is one of the last ones to get an update but we already have it. Maybe they are just too dumb to look around and do a proper job? A lot of people (including myself) have a lot of complaint with the customer service being provided by Samsung all around the world. Also, maybe your phone is on contract like our US counterparts? The delay with these as just staggering and mind blowing even. As a side comment, the upgrade (for my phone) actually contained the flash player - which was later updated automatically by Android Market. Also, I manually flash firmwares to my phone so I don't know what happens with a Kies update(I am actually running Android 2.3.4 right now). As one of the members here said, try typing flash player in the market - I've checked it and the app appears in my phone. I hope your problem gets resolved ASAP. Another possible option is to look for a direct download link for the apk file - you can just manually install this by opening it in your phone (in the same way that you run executables in computers). This is of course assuming that you are on Android 2.2 or higher.
Is this phone compatible with Outlook?
hi guys.. i just wanna ask the all the expert in samsung i9000, if i can use the battery of samsung i 9003 to samsung i9000?
please please need an answer for my questions..
arman, 21 Jun 2011Thank you for the links, I read it and unfortunately I don't feel confident enough to do it...... more@arman.
Regarding Touchwiz 4 for the SGS. I personally do not know if Samsung will officially develop it for the SGS. I don't see any problem with them doing it as the good people over at XDA have managed it so Samsung ought to release an official update for us.
All the best.

Anonymous, 20 Jun 2011thanks ray But when its still charging it display 100% After I switch off the electric, it s... moresame thing happened to my Samsung galaxy s when i upgraded to gingerbread 2.3
fatos, 21 Jun 2011yes its ok Freefaller,I understand ...its my first day using galaxy S,first day using android ... more@fatos.
All smart phones have low battery life compared to older phones that were just capable of calling and texting.
However, the SGS does have quite decent battery life for a smart phone. Once you've run it through a few charging cycles the battery will be calibrated and you will see an improvement in battery life.
Other things to consider to preserve battery are, turn off Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and HSDPA when not needed. Turn off Live wallpapers and set the wallpaper to a plain black one. Disable GPS and background data synchronization.
A good app to download from the Android market is Juice Defender which will automatically alter system settings to preserve battery life.
