I even have a black casemate hard cover on it to protect the back cover against scratches, maybe it was a software update issue.
Anonymous, 10 May 2011You mean the battery for the Galaxy SII can use in SGS?Yes! The 1650 mAh for SGS II can definitely be used on SGS i9000 because it has the same voltage 3.7 v. It is newly manufactured, dated 22 Feb. 2011.We can admit that our beloved SGS 1 has a battery issue, now this is the answer.

video files are stuck on phone. Message says 'invalid if I try to copy to my PC. This phone's Kies software is 5hite
I currently have a Nokia E71 (I know it's old!!!), but can now get either a Samsung Galaxy S, Blackberry Torch or Nokia N8 / E7. advice pl? I'm happy with Nokia battery life, but software is outdated?
I bought a 1650 aMh battery for my SGS and i'm very satisfied with it! Now my SGS can last up to 3 days with (full usage of wifi)without charging and up to 4 days with lesser use of wifi. I think this is the answer for our problems with the battery.
ive only had my SGS for a week, and it was on 2.1(Eclare),it was ok, but the battery was running down quick,i think it was due to me downloadng apps all the time. i searched a found 2.3(gingerbread), upgrade via ODIN(application),and downloaded all the stuff again, and what a difference, the battery management is better and the graphics are smoother and faster..a massive improvement, i prefer this over my OLD iphone4. this phone is amazing and the SGS2 will probably even better.
is there any signal reception issues when cover the lower back panel?
the signal will drop is that true?
Anonymous, 09 May 2011I am running Gingerbread .Darky's lates V.10 Final.
Get on XDA forums... moreyeah, i'm waiting to get 100% battery then flash :D
Well, you can find tons on XDA, but DARKYROM.COM is created by Darky crew themselves and a lot of people are there. If you're on Darky and wanna get more, including themes, ROM, non-ROM, feedbacks, Helps, Kernel, Modem, DARKYROM.COM is your place. I like it more than XDA, IMO.
Anyway, you get any FCs and bugs on the final one?
Just come across a tip on the Android Forums for taking a screen shot with out having to use a third party app.
Just hold down on the back button and simultaneously press the Home button. Your screen shot will now be in the gallery. Only works on 2.2 though, not 2.1
I would like to ask you how long does the battery last.. becaude my phone dies in 4 hours... it is alwful

AgonZeka, 07 May 2011hello people , I need to tell me with yes or No , and tell me some good or bad specifications ... moreWaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyy better, man! SE phones are slow and outdated. SGS is way fast and super sexy. Holding the phone for 7 months and YES, best one ever. I wouln't waste money on SE or esp IPHONE. Really nice phone to get, I gurantee. There're lots of updates if you know what your phone can do. There are a lot to do with it.
Have had a very poor experience with this phone.
Go it over the iPhone4 because of the 2 week waiting list and this was the new release alternative.
Had the phone for over 6 months and ended up being very disappointed with in the first 2 weeks.
Being locked in a contract there was no chance of refunding or replacing the handset.
40% of the time the phone had constant freezing, slowness and crashing which made this near impossible.
The Phone has good features... when they worked, like trying to answer calls or send sms.
Took the phone for warranty repair and said it was normal to be slow and crash... they updated me to 2.2 which didn't do nothing but add flash and make the phone even more slow.
The phone works fine when set to factory default, but once you add an exchange mailbox, gmail and facebook... it is suddenly as usefull as a pile of sand in your pants. Looked around net and also found other people with different android phones with similar issues.
On the flip side, the camera was very good, the screen was nice to look at, very light (but felt cheap), decent build (drop a few times with no issues), some usefull apps, can use as usb drive and can play mp3's or videos with out the need of itunes or zune.
In the end I smashed into pieces, should have sold it on ebay but I felt better sending this $600 atrocity to hell. I will not miss this phone.
