Anonymous, 30 Jan 2011what a stupid expensive phone had this for 1 day and took it back, iphone is much better with ... moreGalaxy S with Android 2.2.1 is far better than IPhone4. On only one days use you did not even try rooting it and install any lagfix, and you did not upgrade to the official 2.2.1 update.
Most apps install less than 20 mb on the internal memory, the rest is installed on the sd-card, so 2 Gb is more than enough.
[deleted post]"Android apps are written in the Java(TM) language, and compiled by the JDK's javac compiler" se here http://weblogs.java.net/blog/opinali/archive/2010/08/17/android-java
There are many converters for drm protected audio and video files so they can be played in Android
We all know that Symbian can do almost anything, but it does everyting so bad, almost unusable, that it is mostly intended only to look good in the list of specs in the store to fool buyers to spend money on Symbians.
What can Symbian do that Android can not do yet, besides "USB-on-the-GO"?
Android is a young and modern os that evolves very fast, so if there is anyting users want it to do then it will probably be able to do it very soon. Symbian is an old outdated os, that is almost not evolving at all anymore, it is mostly the same as it have always been, with the added capacitive touchscreen, and it only still exist because MeeGo still is to bad to be used in any smartphone.

Saqib, 30 Jan 2011Those who have got guts to read this truth, for those only: " I HATE ANDROID PHONES &q... more1 Close all tabs in the browser and then press "back" and the Galaxy S browser will close, shut down/off, or use Dolpin or Miren from the Market as your defalt browser.

calvin, 30 Jan 2011lag very very often, ram only 304mb not 512mb.cheatingIt's not cheating. Galaxy S really has a 512mb ram but. 304mb can be used by the user and the remaining is reserved for the OS
btw: I have a +330mb ram since I upgraded my firmware to 2.2.1

Sakhib, 30 Jan 2011Let me clerly tell you one thing,,,I am not in favour of any brand or I am not promoting any b... moreI've tried most of the Android phones with high specs and I havent found any problems with task manager so far, some of the low specs ones have problems. And if you dont like apple nor Android, what will you buy? Windows phone? Or Blackberry? If you buy those you may as well go for Android.
P.S. I didnt say Symbian because Symbian OS is an insult to smart phones.
