I only know to use what I have but know nothing about modifying them. This being the case, will you suggest me to upgrade my Galaxy S to Android 2.2.1?
I understand its super fast and cool, but yet unofficial.
If I upgrade my phone to 2.2.1, will I lose warranty?
After upgrading to an unofficial firmware, can I still use kies for further official upgrades?

Yash, 17 Dec 2010My Samsung Galaxy S phone got locked due to too may pattern attempts.
so guys.. please help... moreif you're lucky and have the recovery mode, you can solve this problem by doing a factory reset.
but you'll loose all the data installed on the phone(not in memory card).
Click Volume up + Home + Power button.
you'll be in recovery mode, navigate to "factory reset" using the volume buttons and click accept.
