sm.gurdeep, 17 Oct 2010Hi paul,
May be the I missed your reply before I went ahead with the flash. I live in India... moreYou should have even taken that picture, you dont need to justify yourself for that sad act who sits and pulls up old messages you wrote.

May be the I missed your reply before I went ahead with the flash. I live in India by the way. And the flash is successful with CSC_I9000XEEJM1. Quadrant score is below 900, the performance is way more snappier than froyo, however. Will definitely be applying some lag fix on top of it, most likely the voodoo fix. Thanks.
here you go i dont lie thanks.

It was £14.99 English from Amazon.Co.uk not euro's obviously I've got to set the battery up first and I'm going to reset battery stats which is best to do when you flash a new rom but I didnt. Still on %52 been using since midday yesterday and all evening at work all morning with everything turned on and the brightness on full.
He is bluffing
sm.gurdeep, 17 Oct 2010Hello paul, As per your suggestions I'm going ahead to use I9000XEEJM1 csc. About to flash ... moreDid you read post properly I think is said something about doing something different if your downgrading from froyo. Please check it.
am using jpm froyo its running good not great but good enough gps is improved lot homescreen custom and lot more improved moreover it score quadrant nearly 2000 here is the screen shot of mine but not as great as nexus one but k under this test u can c nexus performs 3 times better than galaxy s in cpu performance.....
browsing in jpm is faster and supports flash great but u need to tweak with some files from galaxy tab to run browsing and flash to run smooth
and cam can record mp4 file looks great....
As per your suggestions I'm going ahead to use I9000XEEJM1 csc. About to flash in a moment... Thanks.
Ryan, 17 Oct 2010Ok Paul think I will give JM9 a go,

Do I just follow these instructions exactly as you posted earlier or do you have any better instruction.
It sounds very hard but maybe not once I get started
This is what you mentioned earlier
Follow instructions but be careful and dont blame me if you make a mistake.
First you need to install odin3 v1.3 on your pc
then install jm9 here
make sure you read instructions properly and choose the correct csc file for your country do this by Opening dialer and type: *2767*4387264636#
The second line will read: PCode:GT-I9000HK?xxx.
Make the last three characters match with the CSC product code, Let phone reboot and install this rom.
Then root your phone here
Then this read instructions please
look for v5 slim for I9000XWJM9 and the theme under it and download them at the bottom of the first post follow instructions and install this.
Reboot phone again then finally install a lag fix of your choice. I think that it everything
Ryan, 17 Oct 2010Thanks for this Paul. Do you think I would see much change upgrading to JM4. I am just... moreTo be honest I would get rid of the vodafone rubbish 360 sucks i had the Samsung h1 it was ruined sold it after two weeks. Seriously installing jm9 is not hard so many people will help you on xda it would be the best thing you have ever done and like me you wont be able to put your galaxy down and probably like me not even worry about froyo.
paul, 17 Oct 2010yes if kies is offering that to you do a firmware upgrade through kies i have had no problems ... moreThanks for this Paul.
Do you think I would see much change upgrading to JM4.
I am just hearing horror stories about everything with upgrading, wish it was simple like HTC or Nokia.
So should I upgrade to JM4 which will no doubt have all the usual junk that VODAFONE insist in adding like 360 updates and all stuff you dont need to slow down your phone.
Then should I run oneclicklagfix.
So when I access one click lag fix is that normal for me only to have root available and everything unavailable.
I would try what you say with JM9 but looks far to complicated for me to be honest mate but thanks for advice anyway.

Since my original f/w was jg4 and the original pCode was GT-I9000HKAINU. The new pCode with froyo 2.2 suggests GT-I9000HKAXEE though. And the KAINU is not even available with xda for that matter. So which csc to go with? Any idea?
