So too put the files on you went to usb mass storage mode then plugged in phone, mounted sd card so that windows opens the internal and external then added them to the folder of one of the cards. ? Is this correct.

paul, 12 Oct 2010If anyone is a heavy user like me then purchase the extended battery that I listed a few posts... moreWhy not simply buy an extra original battery, because that extended battery makes the phone very big and would take up more place than having to carry an extra "original" battery? One of the key features with this phone is that it is lightweight. It is also possible to plugin the powercable or usb-cable when it can be done to be able to "poweruse" the phone.
sm.gurdeep, 12 Oct 2010Just out of curiosity... what are you doing in sgs thread? :-/ As far as I guess, in two of... morewell he asked 4 a suggestion and i gave him one and told the truth. i never asked him not to buy galaxy either. i just told the facts.

paul, 12 Oct 2010Hi is the media scanner running at the start when you turn phone on.Yes, Paul the media scanner is running, when i switched the phone off for 10 sec and then back on again. I also unmounted the SD card and when I mounted it again, again the media scanner was running. I waited until it finished scanning the content and then there after tried looking for the mp3's via the internal file browser, but to no avail.
Your help will be appreciated.

Cambodia sgs, 11 Oct 2010hi there.. l have a question to ask...regarding how to save or download a picture from a web... morei dont know if you reaaly have this phone ive used iphone 3gs for my prev phone. this phone has better battery and i have no problem in hearing the ringer even not in full volume.
I got my galaxy 3 weeks ago and have had no issues with the phone. sure the battery runs out and you have to recharge it at night. But thats to be expected with this kind of phone.

I am looking to buy a good smartphone,
I am confused to buy n8 or sgs,
My requirement is good music, navigation, document reading, mail sync, and also am a frequent traveller watch lotz of movies.
I received my Samsung Galaxy S on the 27 of Sept. Overall the phone is great apart from some minor bugs.
The problem that I encounter is with downloads over wifi. I downloaded games, live wallpapers, applications and music. after downloading the mp3 files, please remember that I have a 1G memory card inside which is full of content, I assume the mp3's that I downloaded was saved on the phone memory.
Great, when I opened my music player and went to recenly added mp3's, it only showed the music that was saved on my memory card. I cant find the mp3's that i downloaded, and it was more than 76 songs.
If there is anyone out there that experienced the same problem or know what I did wrong i would really appreciate your help in sorting this out as this is now the 3rd time that this has happened to me, missing/losing content.
Anup, 12 Oct 2010The video clearly shows its 1600mAh and not 3200mAhWatch the whole video that is the small version. Why ate you questioning me.
Chibby, 12 Oct 2010Hi all, I came from the Samsung OmniaHD forum in this site. I was once a proud owner of suc... moreI'll just be fair in what I say.The selling point of iPhone 4 is its UI and the app store, however iPhone is popular among the Americans, but Samsung and Nokia has a grip over the entire globe. iPhone 4 offers 3D games with the gyro sensor, that's definitely a treat, but that might not be the whole concern of the buyer, not everybody plays games. App store of iPhone may have lots of apps but the number of free apps are minimal whereas in the Android market half of the apps are free. Moreover with iPhone you are probably under the control of a dictator(dependency on iTunes). This is where the price comes in. In my country iPhone 4(factory unlocked) 16GB-80k whereas Galaxy S(sim-free)-50k. So paying so much less for a phone and getting similar functions as iPhone 4 + freedom, that definately earns the name of iPhone killer. However apple provides better support to their devices, providing updates and fixes, whereas Samsung may not provide anymore updates and you will be compelled to buy another phone. Apart from that battery is also a concern. According to gsmarena blog the battery of Galaxy S lasted 3 days even after heavy use,but if you read the comments here, you'll find people are charging their phone twice daily. So there is something really fissy here. I have no idea about what the actual battery backup is. It will depend a lot on how you use it. Now coming to Nokia's Symbian^3, yes it is definitely the best OS compared to the other versions. But you will definitely miss the flasy UI of Android. In terms of looks I think Android is kind of similar to the iPhone 4 and that's way better than Symbian^3.
