does anybody else find the battery life on this phone a piece of s**t?
admittedly i play with this phone a lot, but youre expected to, it had so many damn functions. other than that, its fine, sometimes a little laggy with a few programs running, but agreed with others, quality of photos, recording, screen etc is beautiful
This phone surely is nice to handle even with its plastic body. could have been more pleasing if it can have flash support for web browsing.
very cool 4inch screen..
Anonymous, 13 Sep 2010If you want a top-end android phone, go for Galaxy s. Nokia N900 runs on Maemo OS and till dat... moreGalaxy S looks Top but it is not. Screen look great best i ever seen on any phone but that is all. The HTC Desire perform much better. Galaxy is lagging, slow and freeze. Galaxy also is made of very cheap plastic.
Bubu, 13 Sep 2010Is this phone better than n900 or shd i go for this :?:If you want a top-end android phone, go for Galaxy s. Nokia N900 runs on Maemo OS and till date, its the only phone that runs on Maemo which means Limited Apps!
If I were you, I would definitely go for Galaxy s!

Hey this galaxy Guy doesn't even come from England I don't think well I hope not anyway.
to all the people having problems with the phone not connecting in kies ,
run kies and in top left corner kies menu run driver recovery , once done exit kies ,
on the phone go to settings,sd card and phone storage unmount the external sd card , then unmount the internal sd card and only format that , if you have anything important on it back it up
in settings menu go to about phone, usb settings and select samsung kies and then reboot the phone
run kies , connect usb cable to the phone , let the drivers install and the phone should now be connected in kies
i hope this helps
I Purchased The New Samsung Galaxy S.. I'am Telling u , this phone is really worth it.. I know that some people don't like this phone because there's no flash for the camera but without the camera flash, the picture looks awesome i don't think that this phone need a flash..the hd video looks cool and professional. you can download lots of apps from the android market..this phone is built for future..you can see the future! i love it!
i wanna buy a smartphone soon but m confused between d galaxy n n8,d delay in n8 is really very irrirating coz i havnt heard d user opinions of it.both look awesome but i hav heard dat galaxys battery backup is not dat gr8,is it true??i would wait till d launch of n8 2 read its review n den decide between d 2,though there r more chances of mine buying d galaxy coz of android since m currently using a symbian.
Guys when i use my Samsung 19000 galaxy wow the best gadget i ever had..try it guys! esp.everytime i travel in pampanga ,philippines to visit my family...
I exchanged my 5800 with my friend for samsung galazy s. I told him, i want to use it for one week.
The phone is good, but i am wondering if he will get his phone alive if it falls down.
This guy told me that he is going to buy N8 as soon as it is realeased. I dont know why foolish people are borned rich.
I fear for this guy, he will later cry for battery life for his samsung phone.
Android is a very beautiful fat woman.
For all people who say symbian is old are not people that phone manufacturals should trust.
[deleted post]What's he gonna look like with a tea towel on his head done any poos in the river lately.
I installed OpenDesire, forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=768624
It solved all my connection-problems and I never loose my 3G-connection. OpenDesire is great, BUT there in no FM-radio but I guess I can live without all those commercial interuptions and now listen even more to Spotify and LastFM. OpenDesire is Froyo, and I installed Adobe Flash 10.1 from the Android Market. Another smal problem with OpenDesire is that the amount of user available memory to install apps got even smaller.
This proves that there is a real problem with HTC Desire connection-software. (Galaxy S does not have any connection-problems, but a lot of "lagging"-problems...)
Desire is still "the Android-King".
There is no option to delete in the dial pad when u are on a call.it had put me in lot troubles while dealing with banks. anyone had any work around for this.
