And the gps is among the worst ever, and the fm-radio is only mono. Galaxy S problem is Samsung software.

None of the iphn's hav the shoes to stand with this baby.
over the last few years, ppl are seeking for the iphn killers, bt the problem here is that by doing so, the iphn gets a hype good for nthng.
How many times ppl are required to comment abt the drawbacks of iphn..atleast i spare this boring task this time as evry1 knws the truth..even the iphn owners accepts this at their heart and want a baby like GALAXY S.
Now my friends, THE ERA has changed. BY THIS DATE, START SEARCHING for the GALAXY S KILLER.
this is a gooood!!! phone features are excellent and the camera is not bad either
Just for those wondering, I'm in Canada on Rogers network. This one is the Bell version but works just the same, exactly the same phone just the look is different...
This phone is just amazing. I really think this is better than the iphone, but most brainwashed Iphone owners will never give this a try. It's a shame beause this really is a great phone. not to mention you can make video calls to ANY PHOME WITH WI-FI TURNED OFF. And the video recording is amazing. I've been using it for a week and everyone that has seen it loves the phone.
no flash??? average 5mp cam, too big, no led notifications and a cheap plastic build for such a high end phone
Hi all, please assist, what maps are available on this phone Google or Garmin, currently have a Samsung i780 which is a boss phone, looking at possibly upgrading to the i9000
shiva , 31 Aug 2010Some says the froyo is already on kies updateYes I have froyo on my galaxy updated thru kies..had been trying different firmware for weeks.putting it on with odin
.but put my phone back to one off the first firmware s for the galaxy plugged my phone into usb and opened kies and update found.updated its froyo 2.2 no registry tweak required..froyo really shows the potential off this phone.i would say its capable off running gingerbread 3.0 no problem..
Got this phone back at the start of August. Got mine for €159.00 from Meteor Ireland (Contract: €30.00 p/m 200 Mins talk, 200 text, 1GB internet)
The phone is sim unlocked. Put my old o2 sim into it and it worked no problem.
This is by far the most amazing bit of kit I have ever had. Syncs all my contacts with Gmail without having to connect it to anything. The screen is just out of this world. I have it in my hand constantly. Just can't put it down.
Why anyone would want to get an iPhone after seeing this is beyond me. I have seen it written on a few reviews that its already getting the nickname "The iPhone killer" after having this for a couple of weeks I can see why.
I love showing off the swype text. Everytime I let them try it you should see the surprise look on there face.
Only down side to this phone is that I could never go back to anything less then this.

sujiai, 31 Aug 2010battery life... a lot better than other competitors, I charge my phone every night and it last... moreI love those who talk about batterry life on phones. This isn't the days of the nokia 3315 where 1 charge can last a month. Modern 3g phones, running large screens, a processor which is constantly multi-tasking, a GPU and a whole heap of other drainers will simply not last more than a day. So get used to the idea of charging a phone everyday or you can go buy a 3315. Even ordinary use will take a phone down to 20% by the end of day. Besides, is it really that hard to rememeber to chrarge your phone b4 u go to sleep, who would seriously not charge their phone and go to work the next day with 20% of battery left?
Darshan, 31 Aug 2010Is there any way to take screen shot, like we do in computer?you can on froyo lol
battery life... a lot better than other competitors, I charge my phone every night and it lasts all day long, compared to my fried who has the x10 that dies before she gets outta work, so I pretty much like my battery life, i would however get an extra battery especially when I know im gonna be heavily using my phone, or bring my usb to charge via my laptop, but thats me.
