In order to compensate, the phone increases the power output of the signal and I guess that heats the phone a bit. Anyway I recomend holding the phone far from your head (use louspeaker function), since the GSM signal might not be very healty to your brain. Anyway, go to the dealer and let the phone to be checked, if you have any doubts.
Thatguyjamie, 26 Jul 2010They need to make this phone with a fm transmitter, then it will be complete :DI agree. But let's put in the camera flash so Samsung can shut the mouth of the Apple boys.
Hi, Anyone here has an experience were its actually painful to the ear to use the i9000 for a call without an headset. I mean just after 30s to 1 min, it's like the phone is emitting too much heat or radiation.

I see that you repeat your post form iPhone comments.
Are you crazy? How dare you put Amoled and CRT in the same basket? CRT (Cathodic Ray Tube) is based on electron emission (that's X-Rays) which excites electroluminescent substances in the display. Anyway some of the electrons escape the CRT and that's why the CRT are dangerous. Amoled does not generate any dangerous light (No Ultaviolet or high energy photons (btw, that is gamma rays-lol)). If you can show me a link to a independent research who can support your statements about the Amoled I print it and eat it.
Anonymous, 26 Jul 2010A factor that has to be consider for this Super AMOLED, the light directly beams into eyes fro... moreBrother.. wot u r saying might be true.. but dont u think developers and scientists working at Samsung are also aware of these facts and also the regulatory boards of different countries check for thse things before allowing it to be released in their respective countries?? its lauched in 110 countries at the same time I guess.. so there is a very good chance that all these countries would have thought abt all those things u said b4 certifying it to be fit for human usage..dont worry brother.. nobody looses sight using a cellphone!!
