hd via dlna i think?
Can someone please post a Video of the Screen in Sunlight? Thanks!
(camera really is crappy from the pictures on gsmarena - desire & co not much better, though, aint it?)
Guys watch this You Tube video demonstration of Samsung Galaxy I9000, just go to this site I will give to you its really cool phone;

Rahul;
better luck next time with your phone Nokia X6 and Rahul can't you see Samsung I9000 galaxy has more features and has a cpu processor that runs ARM Cortex A8 1GHz more faster than your Nokia X6 which only has ARM 11 434 MHz processor and I forgot to mention your Nokia X6 doesn't have card slot so better luck nextime and before you post think first and compare them first bec. your Nokia X6 is no much for Samsung I9000 Galaxy
I was wrong when i said the Galaxy S had a HDMI output. Samsung says that the phones usb can send HD signals, so there will probably be a cable with convertion of some sort.. Sorry
rahul, 04 Jun 2010its nt a good phone, according to me its a money waste phone nokia x6 is better than dis phone.. self proclaimed critic, obviously just looking at the name. I'm sure once you get a hands on the Galaxy S you would drool on it...I hope it devours you and get flushed right out the toilet...
reply@ Jean & anonyumous with respec to both of you.
Jean Yes. My mistake Jean you are correct. It is ARM Cortex A8 Hummingbird 1GHz, not snapdragon as my presumption originally. This is good & accounts to why the galaxy has good economics.
Anonymous. Yes you are correct - at my time of reading the specs & the sample preview. There was generally no announcement of Web Flash. But obviously now flash is supported & details have been added with mention of flash lite 3.1 as you say.
Also it seems that samsungs customers can wave their hands in delight of platform support & firmware updates. Nice to see strenghthen the support of their newer devices. Good news as Froyo 2.2 will truly implement full flash Lite 4.0 Support.
Yes there will always be something newer which will add new functionality but not neccessarily better. Unfortunately modern technology has a shorter life to MTBF.
The quality of engineering & manufacturing componenents has degraded. Materials have always been cheap. Products are always over rated in terms of actual value worth. They are engineered with MTBF on purpose. It's the way of the business can keep going.
It doesn't mean that you can't get quality any more just that you obviously pay a heck of a lot more of a premium now because of the earths state & resources & busineed & competition & running costs & everything is higher.
Anonymous, 04 Jun 2010the screen scratch resistant like wave??It should be! I meen, its the same screen. They should be protected the same way..
the screen scratch resistant like wave??
Can the 3G of the European model be used with any US carrier? If so with which carrier?
wow what a shame, the Wave has full flash support, but this doesnt. what a deal breaker =/
naim: mostly phones are made from that you called cheap plastic, and camera is not perfect, but good enough while hd recording is perfect.
Dell Streak has made a fast entry to the UK market(sold at 429 pounds). But Galaxy S which has been in the news for quite some time hasn't come to the market yet, why? Is Samsung still contemplating on the price?!!
rahul: you are joking right, why x6 beter, because you said that, you stupid nokia fanboy!!!
not totally satisfied by the device
1.actually it feels cheap....fullll plastic feel when held in hand, one hell of a finger print magnet nddd not that great looking compared to other devices of android like XPERIA X10,HTC etc
2.camera--the worst i have experienced...thought it would be nice for this kind of flagship device
ok now abt the performance...gorgeous screen like a dream, super fast..etc
BUT in these modern days everybody looks for a good camera in their device which galaxy s fails....now um feeling sooo angry why the hell samsung did this???why?? cause sometimes performance is not everything....so guys iff u r looking for a performance featured phone not camera then obviously go for GALAXY S...no doubt......bt if u r looking performance + good camera featured nd also good looking phone close ur eyes nd go for XPERIA X10 as i have experienced from one of my friend's Xperia X10 its gorgeous looking device great features nd performance, super fast nd responsive but...but the only thing that sucks abt Xperia is Android 1.6 but no prob since sony erricson is going to update the device to 2.1 or 2.2!!...so its up to u what do u really want?
Very clear in direct sunlight. It does sync with multiple
exchanges and has a dedicated stn page with different servers and to pcs. As for the guy that thinks its exactly
like the iphone i an sorry for you beung so mistaken. I have
both phones. Besides having the android software which
should be enough to make a huge difference it has a 4 inch
super amoled screen,better battery life,front camera,much
thinner, choice of fonts, same charger as all the other phones
more convenient, flash player, and much more.if you have the chance to test one you wull realise the difference
THIS phone.. is a iphone clone... even with android.. the gui (interfce) is a iphone lookalike... the only diferenc..s the AMOLED SCREEN... -_-´..
SAR-value?
Has anyone ever seen a video of the Screen in Daylight?
(its THE key feature, but i could never see it in real action)
looks a good phone but does it synch with multiple exchange accounts i.e. multiple outlook accounts o different computers?
