What I notice though is when I am listening to music and navigating to different folders or other apps, the sound stops for half a second. This happened when I upgraded to DXIA5.
BTW, I have a bit of a problem with the case I am using. I have the original slip-on hard case and the inside peeled off putting some glue on my unit. For all Omnia users in Metro Manila, what case are you using? Where did you buy it? How much?
hi,im using it since2monthes.can anyone tell me can i change or add widgets on todays menu?thank you

Jin Madera, 10 Aug 2009128 MB RAM, 256 MB ROM
is this visible or where i exactly can see this in my phone thanks in ... moreFor ROM, go to Settings>System>Memory
The figures under "Main" is your ROM. It says 256K but if you look at the Main memory it only addrs up to 190MB. I reckon that this is 256MB minus your flashed ROM (DXIA5 or whatever).
RAM - I am not sure where to find this, but if winmo has a task manager similar to our PC's then it'll show up. What I can observe is that in Omnia, the task manager shows you how much RAM a program is consuming, but it doesn;t have anything to show statistical data.

Please visit samsung-omnia.org for tips on how to either:
1. Save ROM
2. Automatically save BT received files into your Storage rather than the ROM.
FOr starters, please try if this works.
Go to Settings>Connection>Bluetooth>FTP
Check "Able to write"
Select "Storage Card"

BTW, SPB Mobile Shell is required so that you can use SPB Shell Skins.
ember, 10 Aug 2009adz did you download your skins from imarche? i think there are instructions from the site... morethe mortscript is ran to enable other scripts to run. After installing mortscript, click on the install** script, then click yes on the first box, yes on the secon box, then select how you want to customize your phone through the next several boxes.
I am not sure about skyoe + video calls as I have not tried it yet, but logic dictates that if you can use your omnia as a webcam, and if omnia supports multi-tasking, then you can make video calls using skype.
Download the SPB Mobile Skins 4.0. You'll find a lot of customizations there. Madali lang iinstall.
If you want to chenge your power on/off graphics and sounds there are also ways to do that but I cannot and will not tell you about it muna because the last time I did it I screwed up. My phone froze on the power on screen and only a hard reset (through the hardware buttons) solved the issue (but I still had to reinstall everything).
