regarding ROM
i used to have DXIA5 and it was good
then i was able to read in modaco.com about newly cooked rom and i tried sector's
right now i am using sector's DXID1/SK002
no problem so far
i also have spb mobile shell and skins
great
regarding old roms, perhaps you can still find them by googling them

On your phone dialer type *#0002*28346#
Press the option on the lower right side then choose Normal, handset then increase the db values (Start with an additional 1.5db).
For more information please go to samsung-omnia.org and go to i900/i910 "How To"
DISCLAIMER: Setting the db values too high may lead to damage to your phone and ears.

I am not one of the many fans of the Samsung Omnia. I love its features and its versatility as a pocket computer but as a telephone it leaves me cold. I have had issues with receiving calls if an email comes through or the ringer will turn itself off if I ignore email alerts. The audio on my particular phone has been pooor to none existent. To hear calls I often have to turn on the speaker option. As a computer great device as a phone get me a Samsung SAGA.

Processor seems to be working doubly hard as the back of my phone ... moreif your previous rom is DXHJ1 then sudenlly flash it to DXIA5,your currrent rom will be DXIA5 if you try to reset or hard reset it will never go back to DXHJ1...unless you will download another DXHJ1 to go back but to the previous running OLD ROM....

but u can choose another keyboard from third app.
like spb keyboard, finger keyboard, resco keyboard etc...

DXIA5 First Impressions
1. Processor seems to be working doubly hard as the back of my phone (below the battery is warmer compared to the DXHJ1.
2. Unread message counter on my home screen stopped working (note that I am using SPB Mobile Shell and SPB Skins).
3. Battery life looks a bit better than DXHJ1.

I have the smaller ones.When it comes to making it bigger I guess there is no way because it is designed to fit in the screen. If you are using the qwerty keys then I suggest you switch to a multi-tap one like the Samsung Keypad or the Samsung Phonepad. If you like qwerty keyboard that is easy enough to use then try using Resco's. I personally like the Samsung Keypad (qw|er|ty).

*#2470# is actually upgrading your camera formware IF you aldready DONE flashing you OLD ROM...i think your rom have the fullest good camera firmware...(thats what i read)

your rom version is from singapore or probably hongkong because dati i hvae the u700 here in philippines i flash it to u708 from HK so probably your rom is from hongkong...try to flash it to the latest firmware to DZIA5...

Jin and Shadrach are two different individuals. Jin is our expert here while I (Shadrach) is just a geek who's new into windows mobile LOL. ANyway, your phone version says i908...where are you from and who's your carrier? Usually it's just i900 or i910. And I see you're using a ROM version that's somewhat old. If flashing/upgrading your camera didn't work, then I think you need a full ROM upgrade. Hard resets work too y'know. Just remember the risks of both a ROM upgrade and a hard reset. To check for ROM updates for your country you can go to samsungmobile.com
Oh, and BTW, Anonymous, please put a name when you post. There are a lot of people posting and it's pretty hard to track who's got what problem. :)
