I still haven't upgraded my ROM. I am thinking about it and reading more. As far as functionality and performance is concerned I am ok with my current ROM. I have SPB Mobile Shell and Skins loaded plus a few more apps. Would you happen to know of a good call management/phonbook app that works well with SPB mobile shell?

chaplyn, 05 Aug 2009Have you checked settings buttons - and make sure that the button is setup for camera - lower ... moreyou have point there...maybe it was set to suspend or something,try to double check the equivalent value of the button of your camera maybe it was wrong...god luck then...

I would appreciate... moreUpgraded to omnia last nov and still having problems.Samsung and MTN at first promised to swap the phone after being repaired twice but this never happened.Now can only speak with call centres.There's just no way one can be allowed to speak with management.Am a lost cause here.Just one of those unlucky ones to have a dud phone.

Anonymous, 04 Aug 2009my screen goes black whenever i pressed on the camera button . any helpHow long does the screen go black? It will turn black an in split seconds should display "LOADING"...in around 2 seconds max it should open the camera. Anyway it depends on how much memory is available while you're trying to open the cam and it should also depend on your ROM. Try cycling power on your phone then as soon as it fires back up, open the camera and see if it gets any faster. If it still won't load then you might need to do a hard reset. What applications are usually running in the background when your phone is on?

BTW, you can try CorePlayer. In my opinion it's better than media player.

I connect my omnioa to my PC and open Active Sync then click explore. I then place all music files I want to include on my playlist in one folder. I do this repeatedly until I separate the music into different folders. I then open the individual folders through the winmo media player. Then go to menu then save playlist.

With my DXHJ1 ROM I play around 2.5 hours of music, watch 1 movie, browse whenever I get wifi ( or when i'm at home. It lasts 2 days for me doing these before I would need to charge the batteries. I also take an make around 15 minutes worth of calls. SO, the latest ROM update will make the battery life shorter huh...hmm..I just finished downloading it and now I'm a bit hesitant to upgrade. hahahaha

go to
my music
all music
then play it....
after that
goto NOW PLAYING
then u can delete and edit the songs you ONLY WANTED IN YOUR LIST
after that
MENU
SAVE PLAYLIST
note: remember to know where will u put the playlist so that u will know where to locate your list of songs...thats it hope this will love your omnia...

actually im done with the latest firmware of DXIA5 ROM because i noticed that it eat ups lot of my battery actually my omnia never last ng maghapon lang due to that ROM so i try to search for the rom for my everyday usage such as mp3 then watch ng naruto lastly when i go to my work i surf the net using my wifi...maybe thats the factor why my omnia dont a last a day...

turning black of your screen it means that your omnia is trying to iniatializing it so that it can be used the screen interface...

yes omnia have a decent and nice english dictionary and its free...try 2 search LEXG...
this is jin hope this would ease your mind for all the problem omnia rises in everyday use...
