Pro Tip:
Turn off 'phone' at wireless manager screen to extend battery life when you don't need to call or recieve calls eg. at night but you still want a alarm to wake you

I have an omnia 8gb uk version and have been trying to update my firmware for ages but everytime I go to the Samsung Website and put in my firmware version it states that I have the latest version.
My Version is Achh3, Can anyone tell me if there is a later version than this and if so what it offers and where I can get it from.

tyecat, 06 Apr 2009The Sim Card slot is where the battery is housed.So do i have to actually OPEN the phone to put in my SIM card? Because in pics the SIM card slot waz next to the memory card slot. On my Omnia there is onli the memory card slot.

Anonymous, 06 Apr 2009my dauter wants a samsung Omnia do you recomend it? I highly recommend this phone for your daughter, beats iphone hands down. Takes a bit of getting used to, that's about it. Meaning where certain things are housed and the Keyboard.

Ok, So I only just got this phone 3 days ago, but I'm finding it really hard to get used to - I cant get used to typing a message and find I need two hands to do so... I'm sure as I get to use this phone more I will love it but for now i'm just not too sure...
I cant find my GPS anywhere... Can someone tell me where it is??
Also - My batt seems to go flat heaps - as I said I have had the phone 3 days and had to charge it every day, is that normal?

jz, 05 Apr 2009i cant seem to switch off the soft button sounds especially on the "end" button. i tried to us... moreThat is easy to switch "on' or "off" of the phone volume by touch the "Speaker" icon at the top of Today screen. A volume control will be appeared for adjusting.

cant say whether the wm is real, but i doubt the phone is sold anywhere without the operating system so why would it have a duff version!

the good thing about this phone is ........ every thing and some feature are exception form all the other phones ............... and i think 1 or 2 function ... is very stupid too , there is no warning of battery are going dead and no indication of charging battery when you phower of .....or you battery fully dead ,..
