But.. If your home Email is a regulare Outlook mail, with pop3 it should work fine..
Go to: Start => Programs => Messaging => Setup E-mail
and folow the steps :)

And the main reason is Windows Mobile, and the weak processor (i... moreYou truly don't know that WinMobile have Multitasking.. Which means.. Programs don't close with the "X" button..
check your Task manager and shut down apps. you don't use..
If you have MANY apps. running. YES the phone will be slow.. This applies to ALL the WinMobile phones..
You should check for new roms, and install if available.
Also, there might be some programs interfering with each other.. Try to do a Hard Reset if you don't know what's wrong.. (Remember to backup everything)

If your phone goes warm.. It's probably a program that have crashed, and also crashed the phone..
what I would do: Do a Hard Reset..
Backup EVERYTHING, and go to: Start => Settings => System => Hard Reset => "Main memory" => Reset => enter: 1234 => Yes.
I would recomend that you reset both main memory, and "My storage" The problem can be in one or both memories.
Hope it works out for you.. Had mine for 5 months. Best phone I've had :)

Though.. The first time you connect.. You need to have it out in the open, free from buildings in 20-30 min. (This is standard.. So don't worry about that..) But this is only the first time... The phone comes with Google Maps, which also have GPS usage, and works fine ^^
Also, DON'T fool around with the "external" GPS settings..
These are the settings it should use:
GPS program port: Com2
GPS Hardware port: Com9
Boud Rate: 4800
Don't mess with these settings.. If you do, the GPS might not work properly.

Anonymous, 26 Mar 2009the standby time for this phone with 4-5 calls a day reaches easy 10 days. No.. That's wrong.. If you must know.. The standby is with EVERYSINGLE function turned OFF!.. Then I include the phone being.. Well.. dead!. Nothing active.. The screen off.. Well.. Yeah.. Then it should last for about 10 days..
The phone last for about 2-3 days.. 2 days with moderal use of music, calling, and surfing..
But DON'T expect much longer, this goes for most phones... (I got it)

I looked for themes for OMNIA on other sites and I couldn’t find it at all. The zedge.net site is very good. Too bad there are no themes for OMNIA but you don’t really need it. There are 6 themes already on the phone.
Go to http://www.samsungmobile.com/support/omnia/index.jsp, this is for updating your firmware on your Omnia. It is very effective and every time I updated my firmware, Samsung always improve some thing on it such as better scrolling on screen and other stuff and even adds new games and etc…, which is great.
This is my first Samsung phone, and before I was big Nokia Fan, when I saw this I decide to buy it right away and I didn’t make mistake about it. It is awesome phone and I grateful that I bought it. Samsung is doing a great job on OMNIA because they work on firmware that will fix the glitches and also add some interesting features such as new game, making more user-friendly, adding more widgets and making long windows that can be scrolled easily such as in phonebook and programs applications.

Hi m currently using omnia i900 & its giving me problemz the 1st one is the battery I have to charge it every day ,the 2nd one doesn't read a memory card ,the 3rd one sometime the phone jst switchiz off on its own,then u have to open up the batter & switch the fone on on its own & rememba i payed R7000 & some oddz

is there a way to sync my phone in pc using vista os? i already installed the cd installer from the package i bought and i already downloaded the windows mobile device center from samsung website but still cannot detect my phone. im using vista ultimate 64bit.

I bought Samsung Omnia one month ago.
I love it cos its a fantastic phone & no phones can bother it. its a good-look phone, slim & solid.
I thing most of people would agree me that its user friendly, feathers & designed.
Of course some people had it, maybe these people just switched their phone from simple functions one to this smart-phone. But slowly will get used to it.

if u r using a phone for call, sms and camera, stay away from this phone. i used this phone for 1 month and it's hard to use. it's for those ppl who wants to live in their own world by looking at the t-screen most of the time - customize this and that, but get no where...cheers

And i saw some opinions about the battery and they said that if u downloaded the new software therefore the battery will stand for longer ... And U are welcome ;)
