DO NOT upgrade the ROM on the internet. go to Samsung office and ask them to upgrade it for you. ask them for an english version. I tried arabic version. it's not great. it slows the phone

When i open the samsung site to try to download my new Rom , i found that Egypt my country doesn't exist so the Question 4m which country can i download it and which one is the latest Rom ... is that u bought an old phone. i mean second-hand one; or maybe ur phone looks like Omnia but actually it's non Omnia!
please take note do not pick old phone from dust-bin !

In the menu it has option 'Internet Sharing'. Enabling this makes it appear as 'Windows-based mobile device' (if i remember it correctly) and there's no need to configure something further. The 'configureing' phase is really the simpliest i've ever seen! It can be used with data cable and via bluetooth as well.
Playing flash- problematic for me too. Haven't tried it hard (MSTSC rocks! :) but click-and-go methods for built-in Opera and IE doesn't work correctly IMHO.

This is my worst phone ever.
And the main reason is Windows Mobile, and the weak processor (it is the Arm processor, though). The operating system is so poor in its user interface, and the length it takes to trigger it to respond, that I've given up. I am going to replace it with something better.

Can this phone be configured as a 3G modem for use with PC ? In the review it is given that this phone has no support for flash files. will installation of third party software like adobe flash plugin solve the problem? somebody pleaase answer me soon.

Hey guys! Can anyone tell me what sort of standby time do you actually get with the omnia? My friend had one and complained that he only got about half a day of standby. thats standby only with no use whatsoever. I just love the features and would love to get one but this is putting me off.

I have the Omnia, I have set the omnia up for my home emails but i want my work emails set up. I had a Nokia N95 8GB with Microsoft Exchange server on the phone. THis allowed me to get onto the server and get my emails. Does anyone have any ideas as to how i could get this? I have spoken to the IT guys and i need to have this on the phone before i will be able to get my work emails.
