Honey, 20 Mar 2009plz any body tell me how to check the ROM version in the mobile and how can i upgrade the rom
The link will show you how to upgrade your ROM at your own risk. I followed the instruction on my vodafone unit and it worked great. I am using DZIA5 ROM at the moment. I don't really fancy those custom firmware.
You can check your ROM version by going to Settings --> System --> Version.
Anonymous, 20 Mar 2009Omnia VS F480 ?
does anyone out there have a recommendation.. not sure which is the way to goPersonally, they are both different phone. Tocco is only a simple phone used to receive and make calls. The functions are simple, no wifi but I heard that the touch screen is better than Omnia. But I believe that it is down to the fact that Tocco has much lesser function than Omnia and Omnia is running Windows Mobile 6.1 which may cause a bit lag.
I am using Omnia now and it is a nice looking phone and packed with functions. I am very satisfied with the money I paid for. I almost bought Tocco but the shop has only pink color Tocco.

does anyone out there have a recommendation.. not sure which is the way to go
it's the fabulous phone!Perfect touch, fast CPU,sweet shape, lovely motions, powerful CPU,good battery life, nice interface, huge storage & ability 2 increase memory up to 32GB.it's really fantastic, good job Samsung.i love this phone very much.it's the best ,how ever the touch is not sensitive az the i phone3G is, but it's really better than i phone.really all in one.:)
alexa, 17 Mar 2009How much is it cost? I for one have the i900 Omnia and do recommand it as a top leading phone in everything. But the problem i got with it was that i couldn't set it on my P.C as a moderm for internet access. And the manual booklet doesn't have enough information concerning mordem connection on the P.C. For your convenience, i am deeply concerned about this this issue....
sir, how can i customised the time format of my samsung omnia i900 cause the time format is only 24 hour i want to make 12 hour

Probably I need a phone with multi-purpose function. No restricted to one p... moreI have found a solutioon to this problem of the ring tones,
as long as the volumes for sound AND the phone is all the way up your ringtone will be loud, I have mine set to vibrate and ring, for about 3 secs its quite soft then it gets loud and stays loud ^_^
I hope this has helpd you out,
If not tell me and ill explain it more, -The volume button on the side of your phone ;)-
Having been with SE for a few years this was my first Samsung/Touchscreen/WM phone. Luckily, I like researching before I buy and it was a Touch Diamond or Omnia. No regrets on getting the Omnia as there is so much you can do with it. I don't like the Samsung Keyboard but I've got the SPB keyboard and SPB MS now. Much easier and I don't need to use the stylus anymore! Smiley Smiley Smiley
share your omnia experiences on http://www.Samsung-Omnia.org take care.

I have always liked and used samsung phones. Right now, I am thinking of getting the i900 Omnia and I want someone who already owns one to tell me what they consider the pros and cons of the phone.
This phone is one of the best phones I have had so far. I always wanted 1 device that can do everything! Phone, PDA, Camera and GPS. Not only can the phone do all of this, it does it superbly! Let me know if anyone wants to challenge me on this phone!
