so i just started to use the latest HL3 rom, very quick. much faster than any other rom ive used. but apparently the first rom of 2009 AI1 is lightning quick. lets hope so!! :)

Does the phone lags?
Like when you exit from a program,
or wanting to do something like opening the player.

Its the worst phone ever,it stops charging then the phone dies,and has to go in for software that takes nothing under two weeks at a time.

is there any kind of way to improve sattelite lock on gps without a internet conection on omia?
it takes a never ending 3-8 minutes or even more on cold start!
is absurd!

i bought the omnia but i have a problem sometimes the LCD goes off and i will have to switch off or press reset before it can come up but during that period that the LCD is off i do hear the sound of the touch screen working but the backlight will not come up so i will see nothing.pls i want to know if there is a setting i need to change or it is a factory problem

i cannot seem to load the pictures when i connect to my computer. does anyone know how to help me with this?

couple of questions.
1. are you able to set your own message tone? i own a samsung d600 and i am currently not able to do it on mine.
2. how much memory is there for messages? my d600 can only hold 220 inc. the SIM memory. i know there is 8/16gb but is it shared?

Quick question about something that is bugging me about the omnia.
Whenever i log onto MSN Messenger, it adds all my email addresses into my address book. Any way to stop this as its quite annoying! If i delete them from my address book my MSN contacts get deleted. This is doing my head in! Any help appreciated.

... morehi, with regards to ur question, i tried it on my omnia, same result. i tried it the other way round,
2% x 200 instead, and the correct result comes up. hope this answers ur question.

Hello to Omnia owners. I have to say i like my omnia a lot but after getting the iphone , the omnia is my now second phone of choice. Yes the omnia has more features but big deal these extra features to me are not relevant. The iphones seamless usability, brilliant UI and ease of use to me makes it a superior phone. I am not a windows 6.1 noob i know the UI inside . I was actually one of the many omnia owners who was happy to slam the iphone without actually using it. I just used the gsmarena compare function and think , "yeh the iphone sux." Not anymore. This is a phone that has reset all the boundary's on user experience. Simply put W6.1 just does not stack up. For the sceptics no mms big deal email your photos very simple. Copy and paste never use it. Camera is more than enough for me . Megapixels are not everything. Want to take perfect photos get a proper camera. Had my omnia for 6 months used video twice. Wanna shoot videos of good quality not the crappy omnia resolution get a proper camera. No stereo bluetooth . I have a sony stereo bluetooth use it 4 times . Listen to all my music with my high quality sony earphones which i still have to bypass with an adapter.
I still like the omnia and its a very good smart phone , but for me it does not stack up to the iphone , it just does not have that fluid nature that that the iphone has. For any Australians who are tossing up whether to get the iphone. Verginmobiles has a killer deal. Nothing up front 74 AUD a month for 600$ of calls PLUS 1 gig of data use. THis is for a 16gig iphone.
