I've been a devoted Nokia user since 1995 (aprox. 13 nokia phones to date).

After much speculation i decided to take the big step and try out the win-mo OS so I went ahead and bought the Omnia 16gb 3 weeks ago.

After two very confusing days I was seriously thinking about taking it back to the store but luckily i didn't...

Now after having fiddled with it for three weeks, flashing the ROM and installing SPB mobile shell i truly love this phone.
Good job Samsung !

But for individual, like myself, who is n... moresimply bcoz u r not belong to the groups of smart ph users. omnia has many short cut keys (on the side) that u can assign them to one touch access. Even if u dun want to assign, it wont take more than 2 taps on the screen to access u to the contact or make calls. Typing? What do you expect from full touch screen phs? U probably never use touch screen phs b4.
To conclude, simple users should not buy this ph I agree bcoz this ph together with others winmo devices are too high tech until they confuse whether or not it is a phone.

predator, 17 Dec 2008please tell me who phone is better i900 with windows or m880 pixon, I wont the buyHI

Pixon is a CAMERA phone, and has NO WI-FI, I think in now a day technology Wi-Fi is so important, personally I will not buy a phone which doesn't have Wi-FI..

Omnia is ALL IN ONE PHONE, nice camera 5 MP with flash, nice screen res. also 3.2", nice musice device and so and so...

so my suggestion will be OMNIA for Sure (Y)...

:)

No doubt the omnia is a physically appealing phone. But for individual, like myself, who is not as tech-savy as others, this device is very challenging to use.

I got it because i needed a one piece communication tool: Phone (primarily), web browser, email, and data storage device.

Compared to a dedicated phone like the nokia 6000 series; eg. 6300, this omnia will take up tons of your time just to find your contact number and make that call. Creating a text message is a totally different story. You really need some serious practice before any level of proficiency can be achieved. For sure, the engineers who made this device didn't think of making the i900 intuitive at all.

Worst of all, the omnia is the hardest thing to sync with your PC. A warning to everyone - If you do not have windows outlook in your PC then you will have a very difficlt time hooking up this mobile phone to your computer. They say there is some other way for the omnia to connect with your PC but so far I have not been successful. This dilemma probably is due to Samsung having put in the Windows mobile software.

Expensive? Yes! Pretty? Yes, but so are other mobile phones. Lots of storage space? You bet! Ease of Use or to put it another way: efficiency of device to get work done? On a scale of 1 - 10; unfortunately, no more than a 2!

Its a great phone. :-) It's more complete than the Apple Iphone. It is true that it is better than Iphone. :-) I just read an article in a newspapers and gadget magazine "don't compare us with Iphone because we are better than Iphone" boasted by Samsung.
I only have 2 complains for the Omnia.
1.) I wish that the stylus was built in so that i done need to tie it on my phone.
2.) The multiple sending of the messages are limited to less than 10 people.
