I just got my phone and i love it, i seriously cant let it go...all phones have negatives about them but i gotta say once you own one you will feel so proud to own such an awesome gadget. I had my doubt's before buying it, but now i have no regrets ive been playing with it all day and the battery only moved one bar. Too many feautures 2 play around with, i dont care what others think of this phone, all i can say is this is my dream phone.

If u think this screen is useless, all Nokia Nseries and other high-end non smart phs such as cybershot and walkman series are also useless. Only a few phs currently has high res screen such as i ph, htc, etc. are better than this.

To start with, I'll say it's a light and lovely looking device (with the screen switched off). 16GB packed in all of this is marvelous.
That's about it that's great about it !
Usability is really absurd. Takes it's own time to respond.
It loves to crash by itself. services.exe and other .exe files seem to enjoy crashing. I think this is software such as SBSH and Phone Extension which is causing this problem on my device.
Screen resolution is so 90s (the days we never dreamed there would be 640x320 resolutions available now). Try using the phone out in the sun ! It's absolutely USELESS. May be the sun doesn't shine out in Korea... who knows... this is a basic omission.
No stylus. No 3.5mm adapter for a standard jack. But they have a mouse pointer to navigate at the bottom of the phone. (Like ppl are going to use that) Very very poor and cheap tactics, Samsung !
It's such a awesome looking device but uses WM 6.1 which highlights all the Omnia's drawback with neon signs pointing to them.
Why is that Samsung can't use Linux instead of using WM 6.1 Also, HTC has done a much much better job with their own Touch UI thing. But Samsung, is just average. The music player doesn't even have bluetooth enabled functionality or an equalizer.
Although with the 1st firmware update the scrolling is much more smoother, but I think this is what introduced a lot of crashes on my device. I've hard reset it about 3 times since I've put the firmware.
Overall, it's a shame that Samsung has put quite a poor effort on a beautiful and awesome looking device. They don't deserve that device. Sell the device to HTC and they'd do a better job !

SL, 03 Dec 2008Anyone experience 'Insufficient Memory' when trying to go to camera mode? I always had this p... moreI have it too, and found out that if I start the application from the camera shooter instead of the camara icon in the program menu is much less likely that I get the memorry error. try that out. also, end all running applications from the task manager BEFORE attempting to use the camara.
