I'm looking for a CHINESE firmware (.MLI-file, but then a simplified Chinese one).
Does anyone know how I can obtain this file? Or maybe does someone have a Chinese version and is willing to copy the file to me.

Can the Omnia be used on T mobile services in the United States? I am saying...HSDPA 1700..like on the Behold...but the Omnia has HSDPA 2100?? I would prefer to buy the Omnia because it is has ALL the capabilities that I need. The Behold had things stripped off of it. WiFI..GPS...etc....Let me know.

Hello,
I recently got my hands on this phone, and I shall say it's over, if not, on top of the loaded-functions-pda-gps phones (I didn't knew how to spell it :D ).
The 6.1 Windows version that is the primary O.S. works good, without bugs or anything else.
* - the battery lasts up to four days in stand-by and 20-40 hours in use - normaly (60% calling and typing for SMS and 40 % for multimedia and applications)
* - the camera is excellent, great pictures, inside too, the kind of camera that you need to catch some sneak views - 5 MP.
* - High quality of sound - and also a very good handsfree in the package, too.
You can easy import MS Office documents, like excell or word - (what makes it a great phone for office/school).
For the moment, that's all I got, because the phone needs some "time" to reveal all the bugs (if it has, but it's windows the OS, so... :( ).
P.S.
Omnia is also the first "enemy" for iPhone, that's my oppinion and my experience!

this is one heck of a phone so much features I got it just a week ago in china for only 2500 yen hehe not gonna tell you how I got it that cheap
and it is not fake
but one thing is that it should have a higher resoulation screen beacuse look at the htc touch diamond and the htc touch hd

Having just returned my second Samsung Omnia i900 due to them both crashing and switching off, I await the delivery of my HTC Touch HD. Having owned the Touch and the TYTN II I have very high expectations for this model, and wonder why I trusted Samsung in the first place.

I want to emphasize not in the resolution but in FPS
Now that I have your attention, or someone else, can you try if recorded in 640x480 30fps AND 320x240 120fps, both, after recording a little in both resolutions, play the video and see if you can really see it in 30fps for 640x480 and especially in 120fps (slowmotion) for 320x240, you can try to send the videos to your computer through usb cable and play in winamp or a similar program that show the fps are playing, if not showed try to frame advance and count each picture change in a second, quicktime and zoom player have frame advance, or check the video properties, Ill really appreciate a lot if you send me samples to ultracrw@gmail.com

I have few queries about the Omnia phone.
1. After the firmware update my device Versions are
PDA : i900JVHI1/JVHI1
PHONE : i900JVHH4
After this update my phone response is bit slower than before. Is there any new updates to be done to make my phone faster and up to date.
2. When I try to send all contacts from previous phone using Bluetooth, I get a message "Failed to Save. Received data may be incomplete. But if I send each contact separately, It works fine.
3. When I connect the phone to computer using Microsoft ActiveSync and copy few files to the phone, it says the memory is full, delete some files from phone to function properly. I suspect the 16Gb space provided in the phone is not been used and locked by the device. Please advice how to activate the 16gb space.
4. Is there any step by step User Guide for this phone.

How can I set this phone Samsung i900 Omnia to go to the Internet,I was having problems setting it up,I call technical support to assit me, I was suprice to hear they could not assit because this phone is not supported by U.S.A. If then why Samsung Selling this phone to people in USA that is bad.

this device is no expensive ,as other phone if you look through its function ,, i like the window mobile ..,5mpcam and many more ,,i want buy one in next month some please tell me its working fast or not .....??????what about battery life ,in china with out tax this mobile costs 4000-3350 rmb . 1 usd = 6.83 rmb...........and how much did you cost reply ??????
