Can anyone enlighten abouy the battery life ? Mine ,it seem that very BAD ! Pls help, Thkq
Never mind all the fiddly bits. This is a good phone but Windows 6.1 has a massive bug. You cannot email using smtp servers. Microsoft know of the bug, are suppose to be fixing it but it is anyones guess when that will be. Other bugs on older rom versions, at least with Vodafone UK, render the phone next to utterly useless.

I hv purchased i900 on 2nd Nov 08 I have found few drawbacks in this model:
1) There is no sms backup system.
2) No Touchflow.
3) NO callfilter system.
4) No image stabliser ( as was mentioned in tech specs it is physically not functioning).
Hope samsung wud add those facilities in the next upgraded model

Copy your contacts to a sim-card, place it in the new phone and copy to main memory.Dear Jason,
Thank you for the option of coping to SIM. But I tried this also. When I do this, the SIM has only maximum of 8 charactor length. SO I can have half of the name. Also if contact includes more than one number, it saves under many contacts...

Have had the Omnia for a few days now and loving it. It has just been released in Australia so I had been waiting for a long time. I've never used Winmo before and have found it pretty straight forward to use. Reading hints and tips on this forum have helped. One thing though. On previous Samsung models I've owned, I've been able to password protect certain folders. Am I able to do this on the Omnia?, or do I need to download an app for it?
