u can transfer the song in easy way u pls go to setting --> Connections--> select USB Connections then select mass storage.
after this ur phone will be HDD. on there u can transfer what ever u need.
I hope u will enjoy omnia. if u have singapore HH3 it will be best i feel.

Not as impressed with this phone as i have been with some others ive had. but great phone non the less. See how it matches the pixon next week when that arrives!

Because my one came with only 100MB on board and an 8GB memory card.
Is it supposed to be differnt? the Samsung Mobile website says 8gb onboard and 8gb memory card as well.
Are there different versions?

How can you transfer music, video etc from your PC to the phone easily without using the ActivSync application???
I have been reading everywhere that ppl are experiencing problems transfering files to their phones using ActivSync and would like an alternative when I start using my phone when its fully charged

Anonymous, 29 Oct 2008the symbol on the power button should light red when charging and turn green when charged.Thanks alot. I just got mine and my service provider contact told me to switch it on and as soon as i get it and run the batter down till completely flat and then charge it for the first time for a full charge. When I did that, there was no charge red light on the power button at all for almost 3-4 hours and I thought there is something wrong with the phone. The phone would not come on at all, obviously all this time. Now after all this time, and me calling him and him agreeing to swap out the handset for another one, the Red light comes on!!!
Now I am unsure whether to wait and see if it charges properly or return it and wait a 4-5 days for him to get stock and give me another handset...
Please advise...

I have my Omnia now for a couple of days only and still trying to figure it out (no manual). On one of the displays there is a flashlight button but greyed out. How do you switch the flashlight (camera) on to to use as a torch for example ? on other cheaper samsungs you can switch it on permanently.

Anonymous, 28 Oct 2008u didnt answer the question???omnia, of course! why dont you stop being lazy, read the reviews on all, try them out in a shop, then make your decision, this isnt the right place to discuss the 4 phones. this is an omnia forum!! and im sure the people here including myself will happily answer you question. but its not right for us to form opinions on other handsets, when we are all omnia users! and will be 99% of the time biased towards our own handset.

JHAKE (UAE), 28 Oct 2008Hey Kat, Its not advisable to upgrade your Omnia from downloading in the net. It is better ... morei disagree, ive upgraded about 8 times now no issues, and there are very few reported issues upgrading with later roms, it couldnt be more simple to upgrade at home!

JP, 29 Oct 2008Hi friends. Can anyone tell how to lock the keypad?????????????? Thank you byeit depends how you set it up, the default is to press and hold the end key. you can also set to auto lock, also pressing the power button (quickly) will turn off backlight and lock the phone.

Can someone please tell me how you know if the phone is charging when it is turned off? I just got my Omnia and I am trying to charge it but I cannot see any charging indicator light? Can someone please advise as to how I know if it is actually charging?
I am trying to turn it on while it is charging with no happiness...

I bought an omnia recently but there was no tv-out cable with the package. Apparently they don't ship it with cable included and its next to impossible to purchase one on the net. My question is why advertise the tv-out function on the phone and not provide a cable??????

push the camera key and go to the settings find the default storage and choose storage card, as simple as that.

When i take pictures, its directly getting store into my storage but i want to change in to storage card. how to do that????????
