Anonymous, 15 Sep 2008500 cd's would equal to around 7000 songs. So yes, you would still have room for another 500 ... morethe lake of a memory card slut it its biggest down side and that you have to us itunes.

Hi guys when i'm using the phone and i have to use the #'s on the phone to follow instruction,how do i get rid of the annoying lock that locks the key pad..also how do i stop the phone from blacking out when its not in use for like 10 seconds...Any help please guys..

david, 05 Oct 2008i sync my omnia to pc via USB and after tranferring about 30 songs a message " storage memory ... moremake sure you are placing your songs in the 'my storage' folder and not your phones main memory, which is only about 100mb.

i sync my omnia to pc via USB and after tranferring about 30 songs a message " storage memory too low " appears in my phone. how could this be? my omnia has 16GB memory and there are only 30 songs downloaded to it. is there any set up to do to my phone so that my downloads go directly to my storage ( 16GB )? co'z i think it only goes to the main memory. plz help.....

Anonymous, 05 Oct 2008the latest official rom from samsung can be found on the samsung mobile web site for singapore... morealso just a little info on roms.....
H = year, ie. 2008, G = 2007
I = month, ie september.. H = august, G = july, and so on.....
3 = version number, so the third version for this month.
now the first 2 letters refer to a network carrier/ country. XX = multi europian, DX = singapore, ect ect.
so just to clarify the rom i now have is DXHI3, previous roms available include, XXHG5 (my first, uk standard) DXHH1, DXHH3, DXHI1, DXHI2, DXHI3, there are more, these are roms i have personnaly flashed to my omnia. there is currently no official uk rom released by samsung for uk, as you can the roms i flashed my uk version omnia with are from singapore, but are in english..

There is a Route 66 Turkey software coming with t... morethe latest official rom from samsung can be found on the samsung mobile web site for singapore. but ive never got it from there as they are way behind roms released to service centers. the latest official rom that is aquired from a samsung service center is HI3.

This is avery good phone but the problem is that the screen resoulution is not good and the design is not good but everything else is good.

I hope a multi-language rom would work then. There is a Route 66 Turkey software coming with the sd-card, i hope the rom update won't affect that.
I have read a lot about roms now but I am confused. What is the latest official multi-language rom?

phones4u, 05 Oct 2008Has anyone figured out how to change the language on the handset ? if u do then ur one in a millionwell its fairly simple.... as long as you have a multi laguage rom????? some roms are specificly for there chosen country, ie italian, french etc etc..... to change language, go to main menu, settings, system, regional settings.

I have a question. Is the original firmware really bad? Do you really have to update it to a current firmware? I mean does it restart itself and drop calls regularly or do these things happen rarely?
And here in Turkey, Samsung didn't release a firmware update yet. Can I install any other update and would it work just fine (although the phone is in Turkish language)? Thank you.

in bluetooth setting, go to FTP, tick 'Able to write', and change your Shared Folder option to "My Storage".
then you can receive as biggest file u want via bluetooth - provided it's not exceeding your 16gb capacity.
