I have used the GPS on the i900 and it great I have garmin on my i900 as it came with the phone I just drain battery power quickly but ok and I bit outdated but you cant expect a new version for free I suppose

I have the handset now and i think its great. All the things I’m looking for in a phone
the only thing is the battery life it lasts only a day but otherwise a good over all phone
GPS is great as well just drains the battery so watch for that
I would definitely recommend it.

I just discover there is a G-Sensor emulator here at http://www.modaco.com/content-page/272252/games-for-the-omnia-i900/page/20/#entry920711
Does it mean most of the 3rd party G-Sensor apps won't work on Omnia until the emulator install? Is there any apps work with Omnia's sensor other than the ones build in? Thanks.

Billy, 04 Oct 2008Good day to all omnia lovers ! i downloaded some pix ( about 15 ) and songs ( about 30 )from m... moredid you transfer the pix to the tiny phone memory or the "storage" area. the inbuilt memory is split, with the phone being given a tiny part of it, and the rest seen as another device being 90% of the phones total memory or more

I've had this phone for a couple of days and here's a recap:
I got it with original 2007 firmware (DXHG4) and updated it with last month's firmware DXHI2... much better.
I also installed the Spb Mobile Shell 2, and I must say that app shell is a MUST... it greatly optimizes the phone's part (I just switched from an SE w610... simple phone, not smartphone), and it's way easier to use the phone with that software (I tried using it with oem samsung menus, but they lag a bit and aren't user friendly nor intuitive)... If you can grab this software then install it and enjoy a great phone with an excellent and very responsive OS.
I also use Windows Live services to use and sync my Live Contacts as my phone's contacts... This is excellent mainly because of the Live Contacts ability to be merged when duplicates exist... Its also an easy way to always have a backup of your contact list.

I have had this phone for more than two weeks now, and it seems to be working perfectly. There is a little lag time while opening menus and that can be sorted out by going to the task manager and ending unwanted processes. I did not even have to update ROM or anything. It is an excellent phone released by samsung. Omnia users enjoy!

Good day to all omnia lovers ! i downloaded some pix ( about 15 ) and songs ( about 30 )from my pc to phone thru active sync. and now everytime i open my phone i get a message that my phone has a very low storage memory. how could a 15 pix and 30 songs filled my 16gb phone ? please help co'z im starting to worry. thanks in advance !!!

HELP ME PLZ, 03 Oct 2008 I`m having problems connecting myself to an wireless network using my Samsung Omnia! It seem... morejust check that when you are entering the key that its not putting a space at the end??? it does it by default when you enter any txt, you can turn it off but cant remember how. it happend to me. but just put the key in and watch for an extra * at the end.

i just want to ask you... i take my new phone OMNIA from italy but i want to use it in Inglish. Is it possible to install otherROM in inglish(for example)? and other thing is haw can i be sure that the ROM on my OMNIA is the latest one ?!

Usman, 03 Oct 2008It comes with loaded qwerty board ..i have it by defaultIs the touch screen for the omnia as good as the iphone? I had an LG viewty and it sucked bad.
