Melvin, 19 Jul 2008This phone is really the dream phone anyone can get, it has better features than HTC or iPhone... moreIts strange that omnia only last you for 1 day, well i am not sure what is your usage pattern but to say that OMNIA sucks in the battery department is not a fair statement, if the reviewer of gsmarena can use it for 2-3days i don't see how a normal user can only last 1 day. it could be due to a battery problem, or your usage pattern, or you got yourself a ripped off battery.

Anonymous, 19 Jul 2008Hey all, it seems like this phone has a-gps (or whatsoever), and some ppl mentioned that it... moreA-GPS just means that it will use your data connection (Wifi/3G/GPRS/etc) to retrieve satelite information of your position + Cell Tower information + GPS receiver of your device to get a lock down position of your device much quicker. alternatively GPS just means that it will only use your GPS receiver information to lock your your device position, of course this will be slower.

totti, 19 Jul 2008so, you are asking if you can use the A-GPS without the "A"??? SHURE if that is your cuestion,... moreok cool.. but what will that mean for my GPS function? Less signal? Or will it just take a bit longer to connect to the satellite?

Hey all,
it seems like this phone has a-gps (or whatsoever), and some ppl mentioned that it is using wifi/internet to connect. However, due to some arrangements at my work, I probably will not close a contract deal which includes internet use (I can use my wireless connection @ home/work for that, right?), so will I still be able to connect to the GPS program thingy? Or will it cost me lots of money because of my no-internet-use-included-contract?

can someone please help me on how to work the front video camera. i cant have the button on the phone key pad to work and it is not even covered in the handbook. i have 3g connectivity and it is really bugging me why i cant have it work.

Yea 65k is its only problem. sucks because it is the biggest problem. Nonetheless the power this phone has is superb to th4e iphone, experia, or diamond, If you can deal with the 65k:(... really a deal breaker but still superior i think.

This phone is really the dream phone anyone can get, it has better features than HTC or iPhone, but sadly , the battery sucks like HELL. It lasts me for one day only (at most 2 days if i dun play with it). The MP3 sound quality is good but the radio sucks big time, the volume is so soft u cant hear properly when walking outside on the streets. Called Samsung Technical Support and they said its like this, they are aware of this and there's nothing can be done to change it. Very sad....

Hi now this sounds like the ideal phone for me but i have a question. My mommy took out a contract surprise for me where she got samsung j750 for me and with her gift voucher took another one same one for my partner now im not ungratefull but would like to know if there would be any way for me to exchange my contract phone and get the samsung i900 Omnia and just carry on with contract with a monthly price change of course. Anonymous, 18 Jul 2008got my samsung today so i know have the iphone 3g and the htc diamond. i have to say both the ... moreThe only thing i can not figure out is why the time changes on the handset when i do a sync otherwise all syncs fine, have you tried spb shell user interface it is great i think it is more thumb user friendley then the iphone i also own a 3g iphone 15 day free trial on sbp mobile shell i purchased mine after 5mins of using it a great user experience i like both handsets thats why i purchased both saying all that i can do just about every thing i like on the omnia which i love, but i can not say the same thing about the 3g iphone because your very limited to what you can do with it thanks to the way apple wants to do bussiness i dont think apple has made alot of us angry but definetly has insulted our level of inteligence and our expectations the way we all shoud be able to use our handsets with freedom the same way we have been doing with other reputetable handset manufacturers one meassage to apple you have demonstrated very clearly your greed towards consumers very bad strattegy perfect formula for near future disaster if you dont change
