I'm confused and am hoping someone who has this phone can help. On Samsung's official site for the phone the standard accessory package does not include a data cable - as the phone has a proprietry interface how do you transfer data? (Not via Bluetooth I hope!). Also the included headphones in the photo have a 3.5mm connector yet as far as I can tell there isn't one one the phone, and there's no adapter included - therefore how do you plug in the headphones?. Can someone verify these points for me. Cheers
How much is this phone in US or Canada because I am willing to buy it.
Does anyone know where I can get this phone in US or online US?? I want to buy two of the 8GB version. Please let me know if you know any details!! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!
madmod, 07 Jul 2008I have to correct myself. It WAS a truly great phone. Today it just powered off and there is n... moreYes, I had a problem with D900s battery. Samsung were good and posted a new one the next day. They then replaced the phone, and told me to keep the spare battery. D900 has been great for 2 years with no problems at all, in fact it exceeds expectations
This site says they will have the i900 available on 02 contract and upgrade (coming soon)i really hope voda do it too, would be even better if they could give a date. Am a bit suspition though since o2's website doesnt show anything yet but there doing work on it just now so maybe its being updated, fingers crossed!!!!!
Does the box include tv-out cable? and what is the output for speakers/tv out, 2.5mm jack/3.5mm jack or mini-usb?
Is there UI for windows mobile os?
if yes, can someone post here.
Chris, 07 Jul 2008Does anyone know when this phone will be release in Australia???????Hi
Someone ased when the Omnia is going to be available in Australia. Word has it (unofficial still), it will be an August release.
kashif, 07 Jul 2008This phone is a copy of IPHONE and nothing else but no match with apple.
Whoevers says this is an iphone copy, needs to get their head out of their arse. This phone is better than iPhone in many ways.
1) Omnia has an SD card slot ( iphone doesn't )
2) Omnia has 5MP camera. Iphone has crappy 2MP.
3) Omnia Has a faster processor than iPhone
4) Omnia has software apps which i find are bettr than those installed on Iphone
AND MUCH MORE.
The only thing that iPhone has that is better than Omnia is massive marketing campaigns that lure all of you apple fanatics and tech guru wannabes into buying a piece fo crap. I know they are crap because i have been selling the iPhone since they were released and they are allways breaking down with software and touchscreeen issues.
Hi, plan on gettin the phone soon but would like to know if any of you have used the the phone to play DivX/Xvid on ur TV's? If so what was the quality & performance like?
kashif, 07 Jul 2008This phone is a copy of IPHONE and nothing else but no match with apple. I agree, no match, Omnia is far better. Look at the specs. You can't be serious.
I have to correct myself. It WAS a truly great phone. Today it just powered off and there is no chance for me, to get it back to work. I'm very excited.
Has anyone experience with Samsung-Support?
