Main Menu > Favourite Setting > All setting > Conntection > connections > Add new modem. Now configure your operator internet setting. You must be selected Cellular Line"Gprs".
After setting go to Main Menu> Program > Select Internet sharing > Press Connect. When display will show as Check USB cable, connect your device with PC by Data cable.
Now you are connected internet in PC.

I've had my Omnia since Aug 2009 and I AM ABSOLUTELY LOVING IT!! but have not been able to connect my Omnia to my PC or my laptop, using the USB cable. I have checked that ActiveSync is selected under USB Connection Mode, and I've disabled advanced Network. Don't know what else to do. Can anyone please help me with this?

Really your bad luck. I am using this phone about a year but no disturb found. My few suggestions for you if you take these :
You can reset your device. For reset go to
Main Menu > Favorite Setting > All setting > System > Hard Reset.
Select Mainu Menu for formatting. Or you can reset by code *2767*3855#
Before reset you have to copy of your memory card or remove memory card before formatting.
If your device is software problem, it can be recovery after reseting. After reseting, you have to format your memory card by PC or device because memory card can be virus content.

Hav u tried ad was not successful?Actually, I'm about to buy a new phone and I got a dilemma between HTC Magic, XPERIA X1 and i900. i900 is winning for the time being, and the ability to use it as a wifi modem would kick in beautifully and I'd know for sure that's i900 is the phone for me.

I have this phone for already 1,5 year now and i'm totally dissapointed.. i bought this phone when it was one week released and my brother did recommended it because it has so many functions. So i thought i bought a good phone.. but 6 months later i have to send it to a repair shop because the touch screen isn't working well and my phone was full with programs i didn't installed and i can't remove them.. Nobody in the VF store could help me with this shit problem.. so i thought to forget about it and remove programs i think i could remove so i could use the phone. But now after 1,5 years i can't use the touchscreen anymore and even i can't write a damn message so i have to use an old phone to write a message.. I hate the touch screen from the omnia.. I call it a PUSH screen in stead of a touch screen.. because u have to push really hard on the screen to get anywhere with it. I already tried to line out the screen but my phone can't even line out anymore.. :( I can try it 1000 times.. won't work.

i am not able to use the wifi properly, whereas on lappy just by typing the ip address i am able to use wifi, i dont know what the heck is the problem, can someone tell me a solution...
