The i900 is a good phone, has most features a person would want in a phone. I ve got it for a year now, the biggest problem i have is the allignment. how do you guys cope?

many of us may not no but the Marvell PXA312 624 MHz processor embedded in this phone is based on arm9 which is inferior tham arm 11 processor......even though it is 624 mhz it is slow

Unhappy Omnia holder, 31 Jan 2010I've had the Omnia i900 for a year now and since day one it has given me problems,I then retur... moreThere is a solution to your problem - disable the omnia from turning off its screen to save power. Mine did what yours was doing, but now the screen stays on 24/7, which uses a little more power, but doesn't get locked black any more.
Also, a tip to all, go to the task manager and end all your programs after you have finished with them, especially messenger - this will extend your battery life significantly.

Drew, 01 Feb 2010Worst phone I have ever owned. Will fail to connect to windows update servers every time, Sams... moreGuessing that you have a GSM I900 (no usa verizon), you are right original software had an erratic touch screen, the phone got locked and other minor.
Recomendation, go to modaco.com. You may download a better rom for the phone. Read a lot so you learn, do not just inatall a rom if you have no idea of what your are doing. Also you may download a newer rom from samsung direclty. The update in the phone is in there for the hell of it, it does nothing for nobody anywhere in the world. The reason is that an updated rom must be dobe with a pc, better if you have access to XP, vista es not too friendly.
Omnia is an excellent phone, and you will find a lot of support from geeks worlwide that will give you a hand with it.

omnia fanatic..., 03 Feb 2010im really stuck...when i receive data via bluetooth i want it to go directly to my storage car... morethere is an application called persian blue. this software let you choose the destination for the files that receives by bluetooth...look for it in the web o go directly to:

help does any one know how to take the "live" off the bottom tool bar i keep logging on to the net when i touch it by mistake. oh but i must say GREAT phone.

The programs memory is only 90mbs. and you have around 30 or so after windows is installed
