Jin Madera, 11 Jan 2010do not buy this phone...if you have the money you better go for omnia II or omnia HD by the wa... moreThanks for the info Jin. Wow, it seems that the price went down by a lot since the start of last year. However, I'm only a student and my budget's quite low for a smartphone which is why I'm considering the i900.
I however, have read specs of the Omnia Lite (B7300) and I'm starting to like it as it seems to have better performance than the i900.
Do you have any idea how much the Omnia Lite in the Philippines is?
Also, since the screen resolution of the Omnia Lite is also 240 x 400 pixels (but is only 3 inches); is it compatible with all the i900 Apps and Games?

andy, 15 Jan 2010ive got problems with my omnia where the letter "P" and number zero "0" do... moreandy does your omnia have a screen protector? have you tried calibrating the screen first or try different input methods like selecting the samsung phonepad not the keyboard..you could try that one first if it still doesnt work then i think you have a damaged screen..
Based on the specifications,
Phonebook entries, it says practically unlimited, since AFAIK, it uses the phone memory, therefore it is based on how much storage you have on your phone.. the same as true with Messages, I tried, not deleting my SMS for almost a year with around 10,000 messages, well.. my phone still works, but obviously process slows down.. specially if i open my SMS inbox, good thing it is threaded.. :)
Hi, if anyone can tell me how many phonebook entries are supported in i900? cz in Samsung site; it says support only up to 1000 entries.
im a user also of this phone and its great i almost download a lot of application software and games... and it work well... i like this...
ive got problems with my omnia where the letter "P" and number zero "0" dont work when using the touchpad in samsung keyboard. would this mean i have a dead section on my touch screen? all other parts work fine. and i have not dropped/damaged or downloaded any different apps etc for it

Setsuka, 08 Jan 2010Well we got a jailbreaker here.. Anyway what's your choice, pwnage tool or blackra1n?i prefer using pwnage tool its more suitable in jailbreaking rather than the blackra1n..blackra1n only supports a tethered jailbreak. This means that once jailbroken you should not let your battery die. If it does die you will need to reconnect it to the computer and use blackra1n to boot it..btw regarding the black omnia edition i have one i've been using it for about a year now,no problems at all..its 16gb with 8gb micro sd included in the package..jin if you're worrying for your iphone's security you could try i-hound..its a application that traces your iphone once its stolen..and regarding the lock issues the previous updates already fixed it..even if they try to connect your iphone to computer it wont be accessed as long as your device is locked..
Well.. this phone is not bad as other users say... Maybe it's just not their phone of preference. It is not the right phone for them, so they claim they just spend their money for this worthless piece of shit..
Php 17K or less for a phone like this, is really worth it... Been using this for almost a year now, and this phone provides everything I need. Laggy? well maybe its just a memory management thing, there are built in utilities for this...
I recommend this phone for Techy people... or rather the OmniaII
David V., 11 Jan 2010Is this phone really as bad as users say it is? How come it seems that most of the Omnia users... moredo not buy this phone...if you have the money you better go for omnia II or omnia HD by the way the black version here is 17k i think its 8gig only if im not mistaken its 16 but anyway the price is still ranging from 17 here in philippines...
Is this phone really as bad as users say it is? How come it seems that most of the Omnia users of last year have since moved to using the iPhone?
Does anyone know how much this sells for now in the Philippines or in Singapore?
Is the "All Black" version still in production? I'm seriously thinking of getting this phone as my first touchscreen phone...
